**FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE** June 3rd, 20
13 FASTRAK PR
(Carnesville, Georgia) – Coming off a very successful and intense 8th
Annual 2013 FASTRAK Triple Crown. The FASTRAK City Chevrolet Touring
Division now prepares for the summer months of racing. June 14th they’ll
be back at it again for the 2013 “Decade of Speed Tour” at Cleveland
County Speedway and Motorsports Complex in Lawndale, North Carolina. The
race with nearly $12,000 purse up for grabs will pay $2,000 to the
driver in Position #1 at the conclusion of 40 laps around the ½ mile.
Going into the 2013 month of summer there’s two drivers battling it
out for the top spot of $10,000 dollars being the overall Champion in
the 2013 FASTRAK City Chevrolet Touring Division Championship, #8 Ron

It came down to these two great crate late model racing gargantuan’s
in the 2013 edition of the FASTRAK $30K Triple Crown on Memorial Day
weekend. The race between these two drivers for the “Cup Trophy” also
had their names in the hunt for victory or at least in the deciding
factors all 3 nights. On the final event in Princeton, West Virginia
they went into the Triple Crown Finale with #8 Ron Parker having a one
point lead on #11 David Smith. They let it all hang out battling for the
“Cup”. Being right on each other’s cross hairs the entire race and in
the process rallying to the front racing with Dennis “Rambo” Franklin
and overall winner Brandon Umberger for the win. Trouble would change it
all for David Smith on lap 37 when the drive-shaft broke on his TNT Race
Cars chassis. It ended his night and gave the “Cup Trophy” to #8
“King-Bull” Ron Parker which also relinquished the points lead at the
conclusion of the FASTRAK Triple Crown.
Now the next chapter between #8 Parker and #11 Smith along with the
other “FASTRAK Stars and Cars” will be continued in Lawndale, North
Carolina. More great pages of FASTRAK racing history will be made on
Friday night June 14th at the ½ mile facility operated by Steve Mason
