(Mineral Wells, West Virginia) - Good Saturday morning one and all from the great State of West Virginia. FASTRAK Companies International just wants to let everyone know that we apologize with the mishaps that took place yesterday at Beckley Motorsports Park with the "POSTPONEMENT" of the Mike Faykus Sr. Memorial Race $2,000 to win show last night. The Weather God's just weren't in our favor Friday night. RACE TO BE RESCHEDULED - DATE TBA SOON!!



With yesterday behind us we are now packed and loaded heading up North I-77 to the 4/10th mile West Virginia Motor Speedway for tonight's "Wild and Wonderful 50" FASTRAK National Race paying $5,000 to win.



The "Wild and Wonderful 50" $5k RACE IS A GO!! Lynn Chapman and company at "The Speedplant" West Virginia Motor Speedway have already informed FASTRAK Director of Operations - Brian Haynes that if weather comes in and disturbs things, he has the equipment and the people to get the track back going again when the weather lets up.



However let's not even think about that. MOTHER NATURE has turned things around for us and the SUN is shinning oh so brightly. The projected weather forecast is temperatures in the upper 60's and more considerate clearing with clouds then abundant sunshine around 4pm!! We do urge you to bring a jacket or blanket as when the sun goes down tonight it will dip into the upper 40's tonight!!



Saturday night May 11th FASTRAK Racing Series actions return to the now 4/10th mile West Virginia Motor Speedway in Mineral Wells, West Virginia. Tonight will be the first time racing on the new racing configuration since being a part of the 30th Annual Dirt Track World Championships in 2010. This will be a FASTRAK National Event paying $5,000 to the winner. "Lynn Chapman has really done an extraordinary job with the new layout and the track as seen much success." concluded Stan Lester - FASTRAK Founder-CEO.



The event entitled the “Wild and Wonderful 50” will be a National Race for the FASTRAK Racing Series. All the best teams in all the regions will converge for the $5,000 to win show tonight. The last time the FASTRAK Tour competed at "The Speedplant" was in October 2010 when Jonathan Davenport pocketed the $10,000 dollar payday. At that time the track was a 5/8th mile facility. Now that it’s configured to a 4/10th mile, one thing hasn’t changed the “speed” getting around that place.
