As old man winter retires back into his northern home and the whistling winter winds are becoming quiet, they are replaced by the sound of roaring engines. As the new season is set to begin this weekend at I-44 Riverside Speedway south of Oklahoma City, a new area begins. For the first time ever Oklahoma will have a weekly midget series and fans couldn't be more excited. The interest this new series has generated has been huge so far and drivers from the surrounding states have pledged their commitment for the upcoming season. Everyone is invited to come this weekend, April 13^th to I-44 Riverside Speedway as we begin the mission to crown an inaugural champion for the state of Oklahoma. Pit gates open at 4:00 and hot laps at 6:00. Team Notes: Negotiations are still under way to find an adequate fuel and parts vendor at the track so please remember to bring your own fuel.
