West Virginia’s Thunder Mountain Speedway “Ready to Roar” for 2013 Season Under FASTRAK

(Four Oaks, North Carolina) – The 4/10th mile “Martinsville paper-clipped” Thunder Mountain Speedway had a successful 2012 race season. However during the long winter months since the last race in September. The “rumor-mill” set in as it always does during the off season about tracks folding up or changes coming for a new year. Well one thing is for certain in this official public statement. Thunder Mountain Speedway isn’t going anywhere and neither is the relationship with FASTRAK. The track with the nickname “Where the Mountain Roars”, Thunder Mountain Speedway will roar again with some big things in 2013.

FASTRAK Companies International has had a ton of success partnering with Heath Ellis and the family at Thunder Mountain Speedway since 2011. #28 Maple Fork, West Virginia’s Aaron Barley will be set to defend his 2012 FASTRAK Weekly Track Championship. “I’m very impressed with Stan Lester and everyone involved with FASTRAK. They put on some great racing action and always operate a class act program. We can’t wait for the 2013 season to get here fast enough; it’s going to be special.” proclaimed Heath Ellis.

Thunder Mountain Speedway is also excited to be hosting its first ever FASTRAK National Touring event on Saturday May 18th paying $5,000 to win. This is the first time an event of this magnitude is coming to Hanover, West Virginia. Expect drivers and teams from all over the FASTRAK Southeast/Northeast region come “Tame the Mountain”. There is a big season prepared for the drivers, teams and fans at Thunder Mountain Speedway located between Hanover and Justice right near the Hatfield McCoy Trail in the coal fields of the “Wild and Wonderful’ State.

In addition to the FASTRAK touring events and other big events they are preparing for a full slate schedule of racing and also the Pro Late Models will compete under FASTRAK to win the weekly track championship and lock in the races needed to compete in the $250,000 Dollars World Championship/World Challenge Weekend.
