**FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE** February 25th, 2013 FASTRAK PR
(Four
Oaks, North Carolina) – The 1/4th mile dirt facility nicknamed “The
Bullring” in Middlebourne, West Virginia; Tyler County Speedway is back
with FASTRAK under new management. FASTRAK Racing Series will return
sanctioning their pro (crate) late model division in 2013. The deal was
finalized last Wednesday afternoon when Brian Haynes “Director of
Operations” went to the track in West Virginia and sat down with
Promoter John Watson. At the conclusion of the meeting it was agreed
that FASTRAK Racing Series was a main-stay for the Tyler County Speedway
which is going to reward the competitors that run this 2013 season.
Owner/Promoter
John Watson from Hometown Racing Association had the following comments
to say about joining with FASTRAK. “I used to run in the FASTRAK weekly
program at Tyler County Speedway and competed in the Grand Nationals
also. We made a decision that since we’re going to have the crate late
model teams running the Hoosier FASTRAK tire compounds; it was just a
perfect match to have them do the sanctioning as well. Lynn Chapman at
the West Virginia Motor Speedway also got in my ear and told me it was a
good move to make also joining FASTRAK with “The Bullring”. The skies
the limit with this ever popular growing series at FASTRAK and I’m
confident that we’ll bring in the Northeast drivers but we’ll also
entice the Southeast drivers to compete in our shows to allow great
racing for our fans.”
In addition to running the regular points
program drivers run for at Tyler County Speedway. Now under the FASTRAK
sanctioning banner they can run the minimum of 12 races needed to lock
themselves in for the $250,000 FASTRAK World Championships which puts
“the best of the best” in the year to battle for big money in one
spectacular weekend.
