Thunderhill Raceway Presents its Unsanctioned Winged Outlaw Sprint Cars Saturday Aug. 6th
Summertown, Tn. (07/29/2011)- Saturday August 6th, 2011 Thunderhill Raceway will present Thunderhill Raceways Unsanctioned Winged Outlaw Sprint cars, along with all of the regular classes racing.
Thunderhill Raceway is looking into starting a sprint car class that will run once or twice a month in the future. Thunderhill has several sprint drivers and teams that are very interested in Thunderhill Raceway as a home track when they are not traveling to series races. Thunderhill Raceway is proud to make this announcement and looks forward to future endeavors with the sprint cars for providing southern Tennessee with a class of cars and drivers that fans of sprint car racing rarely get to see in this area.
Sprint car rules will be based on USCS and ASCS rules. Tire rule will be open, any tire on all four corners Drivers choice. Engine size will be 360 cubic inches and down, NO 410 cubic inch engines. This will be unsanctioned and points will not be issued.
Along with the sprint cars racing, Thunderhill will feature all its regular classes that include the super late models, limited late models, openwheels, modified streets, street stocks, mini stocks and Openwheel mini mods.
Thunderhill Raceway admission to the sprint car show will be $17 for General Admission and $15 for seniors, Pit admission will be $30 and kids 12 and under free accompanied by an adult. Gates will open at 5 pm, Driver meeting at 6:45 pm, Hot laps at 7 pm and Racing starts at 7:30 pm.
