We all have that favorite uncle in which we all wanted to grow up someday and be just like. Mine was Uncle Luther. As a young boy in the 60's my family would follow him all over the Kansas City area. From Lakeside, Riverside, Paola, Westline, Topeka, Sedalia,Olympic to Drexel cheering on #97. I have been reading some of the blogs and viewing this site for a while, I know a lot of you remember him and his racing career. He was very proud of being inducted into the Hall of Fame. He past on July 26th in the evening.I just want to say to his friends Thank You. And to say to my Uncle Luther we will miss you. There was no one like him, at the track or at home. Larry Sumner
