After cruising to victory at Cedar Lake Speedway, Craig Dollansky and the Big Game Treestands team opened up the 'Month of Money' on Wednesday with the 22nd Annual Brad Doty Classic, an event honoring the Hall of Famer of the sport who was paralyzed several years ago.

A stacked field of 47 cars showed up for the 'must see' event at Limaland Motorsports Park.  In qualifying, Dollansky drew a late number which set the team back for the evening as the track got slower throughout qualifying and Dollansky posted the 30th fastest lap with a time of 11.624 seconds.  "We got into a big hole early by drawing a late number", commented the driver of the Aggressive Hydraulics #7.  In heat race competition Dollansky was slated to start from outside the fourth row with only the top five transferring directly into the feature.  Dollansky made it past a few cars in his heat but wound up finishing one spot short of a transfer meaning the team would have to run the B-Main.  Because of their qualifying position, Dollansky once again had his work cut out in the 'Last Chance Showdown' to transfer into the main event but made quick work of seven cars on the first lap and picked off a few more in the remaining circuits to finish in the top four and transfer.

With 26 cars set to do battle on the 1/4-mile track in the A-Main, Dollansky started in the twenty second position since non-dash cars are lined up according to qualifying times.  When a caution came out on lap five, 'The Crowd Pleaser' had already charged up to the 15th position.  The periodic cautions that joined the field up for double-file restart played to Dollansky's hand as he was able to crack the top ten by the halfway point.  In the remaining laps Dollansky would battle around the top ten with Tim Shaffer and Sammy Swindell and end up finishing 11th.  "We got a little loose towards the end of the feature but got by quite a few cars in the process and were getting by some cars during the long runs, considering the hole we were in coming from the B to the A, it was a respectable night", said the driver of the Karavan Trailers sponsored Maxim.

One of the most prestigious events on the World of Outlaws schedule takes place this weekend as the Big Game Treestands #7 team heads to the 'Big E', Eldora Speedway, on Friday for the Knight Before the Kings Royal, followed on Saturday by the $50,000 to-win 27th Annual Kings Royal.
