AIR FORCE TO OPEN THE AMSOIL DIRT NATIONALS at ELKO SPEEDWAY

 Elko, Minn - Elko Speedway is proud to announce that the Air Force will be the presenting sponsor of
opening weekend of the 2010 AMSOIL Dirt Nationals. The event, in only its second year, broke most speedway
attendance records during its incredible inaugural running.
“In a world environment that we depend so much on our brave men and women of the military forces to protect
our freedom that allows us here at home to enjoy events such as the AMSOIL Dirt Nationals. We are proud
to have the Air Force as apart of this years event” said Scott Mondus Promotions Manager for the AMSOIL Dirt
Nationals.
The opening weekend of the AMSOIL Dirt Nationals presented by the Air Force will include a fly over by a
World War II B-25 bomber from the local CAF Minnesota wing, and special events planned by the Air Force
displays. The event will also include the AMSOIL/Air Force Sno-Cross team on display, and the swearing in
of 20 new Air Force cadets.
The racing action will feature CBC Late Models, UMSS Sprint cars, and Elko Championship Mods presented
by AMSOIL. Two full days of racing starting at 7:00pm July 9/10th will be capped of with the “Air Force 40,”
on Saturday night featuring a 40 lap $3000 to win Late Model race. The AMSOIL Dirt Nationals will continue
July 16/17th with the dirt warriors of the USMTS Modifieds, and the IRA 410 Sprint Cars on July 23/24th.
