VIENNA, WV (August 31, 2007)- Steve Shaver and the Shaver Motorsports/Cosgrove Racing Team have scheduled a full weekend of events that they will compete at this holiday weekend. Steve will travel to Lernerville Speedway in Sarver PA on Friday August 31^st and compete in a $5,000 to win MACS sanctioned event. From there Steve will travel to Tyler County Speedway in Middlebourne, WV on Saturday September 1^st and compete in the "Hillbilly 100" a $25,000 to win Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series sanctioned event. Then on Sunday Steve will travel to Portsmouth Raceway in Portsmouth, OH for a $10,000 to win MACS sanctioned event. The final event of the holiday weekend for Steve and the team will be at Cannonball Motor Speedway in St. Clairesville, OH for a $5,000 to win IRS sanctioned event.

After competing in four events this coming weekend Steve will travel to the famous Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, OH next Friday and Saturday September 7-8^th and compete in the "World 100". This year's mega event will pay the winner $40,000. Steve is excited about returning to Eldora again after running really well there back in July at the World of Outlaws Late Model Series sanctioned event. "We had a really good car  and a good shot to win that race in July until my tires sealed over under a caution about mid point of the feature. Were going to take the same car back there and hopefully we can get a win there. That race is what everyone wants to win and we have as good a chance to win as anyone", stated Steve.

Steve will also be a part of the "Team Sunoco" promotion at Eldora Speedway during the World 100 festivities. Steve will participate in the "Live" pre-race show on Saturday from the Sunoco Race Fuels stage in front of the pond from 3-5pm on Saturday and also attend the Sunoco Race Fuels driver's autograph session as well.
