Southeastern Wisconsin Short Track Hall of Fame

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: The Southeastern Wisconsin Short Track Hall of Fame is proud to announce the names of its third group of short track legends to be inducted into the Hall of Fame, on November 7, 2009. The induction ceremony will be part of a gala banquet affair to be held at the Schauer Performing Arts Center, at the Wisconsin Automotive Museum in Hart- ford, Wisconsin. The ten new inductees join the forty other short track racing legends who were previously inducted in the first two years of the Hall of Fame's existence based on a Board of Directors vote.

This year's group was elected into the Hall of Fame by those who subscribe to the Vintage Modified Stock Car Newsletter. Based on the overwhelming response of the subscribers, with votes for 160 plus different persons associated with short track racing in Southeastern Wisconsin, all can be assured that careful consideration and much thought was given to those who eventual- ly were elected to the Hall of Fame and will continue to be so in the future. The ten persons  elected this year were unanimous choices among the voters.

The ten inductees for 2009 will be Dick Colburn, Ron Luedtke, Norm Nelson, Tom Pogo, Bob Robel, Ted Rozinski Sr., Al Schill, Don Schuppel, Bill Schwister and Gib Wiser. All are to be congratulated on their nomination and eventual induction to the Hall of Fame.
