Andrews Goes F.A.S.T. With K&N Filters and Lucas Oil in 2009    SANDUSKY, OH (3-16-09) – Ohio 410 Sprint Car driver Chris Andrews will have a bit of a new look in 2009.The team has just announced that K&N Filters will be on board as their primary sponsor for the 2009 racing season.Lucas Oil has also come on as an Associate Sponsor of the 2007 National Sprint Car Hall of Fame 410 Rookie of the Year driver.   “We’re extremely pleased to welcome K&N Filters to Andrews Motorsports as our Primary Marketing Partner for the 2009 season,” said Andrews. “We’ve been working all off season towards establishing a marketing partner that can promote its products and services through sprint car racing to its core fans and potential customers.”   The announcement that K&N will promote its innovative line of the “World’s Best Air Filter” with Chris Andrews finalizes plans to take on one of the toughest regions of 410 Sprint Car racing in the country. Andrews will spend the majority of the 2009 season competing in the newly formed Kistler Racing Products F.A.S.T. (Fremont/Attica Sprint Title) series at Fremont Speedway and Attica Raceway Park in Northern Ohio. The area has grown in popularity for winged 410 sprint car racing and with the F.A.S.T. series attracting new sponsors and fans through national exposure, new opportunities for the drivers who are competing in the series have opened up as well.   Andrews will pilot the family owned Andrews Motorsports #15 in 2009 in approximately 60 events in and around the State of Ohio.In addition to competing for the F.A.S.T. Kistler Cup, Andrews will also travel to several World of Outlaws and All Star Circuit of Champions events throughout the region. “We plan to run a decent schedule this season primarily with the F.A.S.T series while we fill some open dates with World of Outlaw and All-Star sanctioned events. With the economic down turn, the F.A.S.T. series is a no brainer for our organization. Having a decent paying series right in your own back yard with numerous dates and a well structured championship purse makes it hard to ignore.”   Through his fist 60 A-main events in a 410 sprint car, Andrews has one win, ten Top 5, and twenty-five Top 10 finishes. The Andrews team looks to improve on those numbers and add a few more to the win column with the help of K&N Filters and Lucas Oil in 2009.   To learn more about K&N Filters and Lucas Oil products, please visit their websites at www.KNfilters.com and www.Lucasoil.com.   “We would also like to thank all of our marketing partners who have continued their partnerships,” said Andrews. “Blue Chip Machine & Tool, Adkins Sanitation, Flooring America Sandusky, Mathews Ford, Construction Equipment & Supply, Spill-Tek Enviromental, Flexi-Tile, Peans Subz & Sudz, Banshee Graphics, Fox & Sons Septic, Goofy Golf, Safety Kleen, Oakley, K&N Filters, CRV Carbon Fiber Components, DMI Race Components, FSR Radiators, Goodridge Hoses and Fittings, MSD Ignition, Cometic Gaskets, Total Seal Rings, Mahle/Clevite, Outerwears, Jesel, AutoMeter Guages, Fuel Safe, Crane Cams, ButlerBuilt Seating Systems, BELL, Simpson Race Products, Hoosier, Peterson Fluid Systems and All-Star Performance.”   If you would like to find out more about Chris Andrews, visit his official web site at www.chrisandrews15.com and you can find out more about the F.A.S.T. series by visiting www.fastondirt.com
