Kathryne Minter
As the year 2008 is coming to an end, so is KMR's racing season. Earlier in the season I made plans to go to Australia and drive for Matthew Reed. As the end of the season came closer I realized that I would not be able to make this trip. Due to sponsors backing out, we did not have the finances in our racing budget to make it work. I truly appreciate the welcoming arms that Matthew, his girlfriend Peta, and Mark Charge from Westside Honda extended to me. I was really looking forward to traveling over seas and being blessed with such a great team to work with. I would really like to thank Matthew for all that he did to help make this trip happen, and apologize for his losses now that I cannot go. I would like to also thank Adrian and Brad from Parr Motorsports for allowing us the opportunity to ship a motor over on one of their crates. I was really looking forward to a full three months of racing at all new tracks, with new competitors. The deepest apologies are sent out to the fans, track promoters and racers that were expecting to meet and race with us this year. On behalf of KMR, I would like to say that I am very grateful for everything that Matthew, Peter Ellis, and the 92v team have done to allow me the opportunity to race in Australia. I hope that I am someday blessed with another opportunity to race in Australia, and will be sure to capitalize on any future chances to race over seas.
For the remainder of the 2008 season, Kathryne, Rj, Mike, and Scott will be working on getting the new Maxim's ready for the 2009 season. We hope to have another season full of excitement, learning, and good racing!
