Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series At a Glance: Billings Motorsports Park & Castrol Raceway

Concord, NC- August 17, 2008--

WHAT * The Gold Rush Tour continues for the Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series at Billings Motorsports Park in Billings, Montana on Tuesday, August 19 and continues at Castrol Raceway in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on Friday August 22 and Saturday, August 23. The event at Billings Motorsports Park will mark the series first visit to the high-banked 3/8-mile since 2005, while the stop at Castrol Raceway will be the series second consecutive trip north of the border. Steve Kinser and Daryn Pittman have been victorious at Billings in A-Feature events, while Kinser and Donny Schatz picked up wins last season in the series debut at Castrol Raceway. WHEN * On Tuesday, August 19 at Billings Motorsports Park, the pit gates will open at 2 p.m. Mountain, with the grandstand gates opening at 4 p.m. Mountain, with racing set for 7 p.m. Mountain.

* On Friday, August 22 at Castrol Raceway, the pit gates will open at 2 p.m. Mountain, with the grandstand gates opening at 4 p.m. Mountain with hot laps set for 6:30 p.m. Mountain.

* On Saturday, August 23 at Castrol Raceway, the pit gates will open at 2 p.m. Mountain, with the grandstand gates opening at 4 p.m. Mountain with hot laps set for 6:30 p.m. Mountain.

WHERE * Billings Motorsports Park is located in Billings, Montana, 14 miles north of the city on U.S. 87.

* Castrol Raceway is located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, South of town on Highway 2, then 1.3 miles west on Highway 19.

TICKETS * On Tuesday, August 19 at Billings Motorsports Park, adult general admission tickets will be $35 if purchased in advance and $40 the day of the race. Adult reserved seating will be $40 in advance and $45 the day of the race. Seating for juniors, ages 10-under will be $20.
