Bradley Terrell signs with Sullivan Images for media representation and marketing
SEBASTAPOL, CA (8-22-08) - Sullivan Images is proud to announce the addition of Bradley Terrell and Terrell Racing to its stable of public relations clients. Owned and operated by veteran motorsports journalist Bill Sullivan, Sullivan Images offers marketing and public relations services to a wide range of business markets and specializes in the Motor Sports industry. Terrell is the latest race team to partner with Sullivan for Media and Public Relations for the remainder of the 2008 season.
A resident of Sebastapol, California, Bradley Terrell is a seventeen year old third year sprint car driver. Driving his Terrell Racing owned Argonaut Construction-Millhouse Glass sponsored #43 Maxim Sprint Car, Terrell is currently fifth in the championship point standings at the competitive Petaluma Speedway.
Despite getting a late start to the 2008 racing season, Terrell is having great success during his sophomore year behind the wheel of a full size sprint car and is one the sports most respected “young guns” due to his great sportsmanship and patience behind the wheel as he continues to learn all the aspects of sprint car racing while being a competitor to contend with at the same time.
In the 2008 racing season thus far, Terrell has garnered three feature victories at Petaluma Speedway. His fifth place ranking in the standings is an outstanding accomplishment after missing the first three races of the season there. In addition to his success at Petaluma Speedway, Terrell is 12th in the California Sprint Car Civil War Race Series which competes at five tracks for 15 different events throughout California.
Prior to advancing to full size sprint cars, Terrell had great success racing go karts since he was the age of six years old. In his first year of sprint car racing, Terrell drove his way to two feature victories at Petaluma Speedway, a 3/8 mile track located in the North Bay that is populated with many young talents in the sport.
“It’s a great pleasure to represent Terrell Racing for the remainder of this racing season,” says Sullivan. “In the sport today professional media representation is becoming a key element to a successful team as sponsorship recognition is crucial. It’s truly an honor to represent these young and talented drivers in the sport of auto racing and assist them in the positive branding of their name and success to the media and the public.”
Bradley Terrell has a number of marketing partners including Argonaut Const, Millhouse Glass, the Dry Creek Rancheria Band of Miwok Indians, Randy Hanson Auto Body and Paint. Vanlare Steering Repair, A1 Shower and Mirror Incorporated, DK Embroidery, Knockout Signs, Allied of Santa Rosa and Sausalito and Altes Engineering.
Since 1987 Sullivan has been involved with motor sports journalism and promotion, beginning as a sports correspondent for the Mountain Democrat Newspaper and later was employed by the Reporter Newspaper as the managing sports editor. In 1992 he was signed with John Padjen Motorsports and was named the Director of Communications for Padjen in 2002, performing and overseeing media relations for Placerville Speedway, the traveling Civil War Series and assisting with Silver Dollar Speedway and the Gold Cup Race of Champions.
In 2008 Sullivan became the Public Relations representative for Alissa Geving, the 16-year-old third generation racer from Penngrove who is the youngest female sprint car winner nationwide. In addition to Geving, Sullivan represents Rohnert Park based JMS Motorsports and first year sprint car driver Camron Mendes; soon to be Placerville Speedway track champion Colby Wiesz and the John Taylor Motorsports sprint car team; Late Model-Pro Stock driver Dan Brown Jr. of Nevada City and Folsom based Tilford Racing who fields cars in the Pure Stock and Pro Stock divisions locally. In addition to the individual teams, Sullivan has been providing public relations for the Placerville Police Officers Association Annual Charity Destruction Derby since 2003 when the historical event was lacking in annual funding and publicity and is now thriving as one of the county’s largest charitable events.
In addition to the creation of press releases and public relations services, Sullivan Images will soon be announcing a partnership with Arnold’s For Awards of El Dorado County as an authorized sales representative of their advertising specialities and promotional products.
