We're calling it the "big one" after Todd and the 14E flipped end over end and barrel rolled during the fifth lap of the first "B Main" during the ASCS Speedweek stop at Devils Bowl on Thursday, July 19th. Todd's "Butler and Hans"safety equipment held tight, with him walking away from the wreck uninjured. Todd hit the 1H of Tommy Hall after Hall spun high in turn two. Todd was on the handle leaving turn two and tried to miss Hall who despite the spin, shot back onto the track and crossed in front of Todd sideways. According to published reports Hall suffered a broken shoulder in the crash.
The 14E, with just six races on the track due to rainouts is destroyed. Todd is building another car and will be back in action soon. For more information check out 14etoddevansracing.com
