World of Outlaws Championship Points through July 18

Mechanicsburg, PA—July 19, 2007--By: Tony Veneziano, World of Outlaws PR Director
 
After claiming the win in the Cleveland Brothers Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup on Wednesday night at Lernerville Speedway, Donny Schatz extended his lead in the World of Outlaws championship standings to 111 points over Joey Saldana. Schatz has 11 A-Feature wins on the season, along with 41 Top-10 finishes.
 
Daryn Pittman used a third-place finish to close to within 47 points of Danny Lasoski who is in the third position. Jason Meyers is in fifth, just two markers behind Pittman.
 
The rest of the Top-10 is Steve Kinser, Craig Dollansky, Paul McMahan, Jason Solwold and Jac Haudenschild.
 
Tim Shaffer finished fifth in the Silver Cup to move into the 11th spot in points. Kerry Madsen continues to lead the battle for the Kevin Gobrecht Rookie of the Year Award.
 
The World of Outlaws return to action tonight in the Cleveland Brothers Summer Nationals Presented by Advance Auto Parts at Williams Grove Speedway.
