World of Outlaws Event at Red River Valley Speedway Tonight, Postponed by Inclement Weather & Dangerously High Winds

West Fargo, ND- June 28, 2008- Persistent rain along with dangerously high winds, gusting up to 50 and 60 miles per hour have forced the postponement of the Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series originally scheduled for tonight (Saturday, June 28) at Red River Valley Speedway in West Fargo, North Dakota. The event has been rescheduled for Tuesday, August 12.

The Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series has three events remaining in the Gerdau Ameristeel Northern Tour which kicked off last night at River Cities Speedway. In addition to the rescheduled finale of the Duel in the Dakotas at Red River Valley Speedway on August 12, the series will make their inaugural visit to Dacotah Speedway in Mandan on August 16, followed by a stop at Nodak Speedway in Minot on August 17.

After his eighth A-Feature win of the season on Friday night, Donny Schatz extended his lead in the championship standings over Jason Meyers as he chases his third consecutive title.

The Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series returns to action on Sunday, June 29 at Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, Wisconsin.
