Alexander, ARK— The Trumann, Arkansas Beard team will be in tow to I-30 Speedway this Friday and Saturday night for a pair of series events.

Kyle Beard will pilot the Red & Yellow, GRT by Frye, #86 Super Late Model
The teams’ last visit to the 1/4th mile clay oval scored him 7th in the heat and followed it up with 9th place feature finish.

The team has just returned from Wheatland Mo, where he started inside pole in his heat, and was able to maintain second position until a caution came out for an incident on the track. On the restart, his car pushed up, sending him in the marbles, and was unable to maintain his second place position before race end. The Trumann native was credited with a fifth place finish, which placed him in the third b-main, where he was slated to start 3rd inside, when officials waved him in due to fuel leakage on the speedway.
Track officials noticed the fuel lid was MIA. Once the problem was solved then he relined on the rear of the field and charged to a 3rd place finish, missing transfer by one position.
Kyle currently sits 3rd in the AMP Series point standings with 298 points.

Kyle will be back in action this weekend in Little Rock, Arkansas at I-30 Speedway. Friday night at 7:30 pm where he will compete for $1250.00 to win, and Saturday for $2500.00 to win.

GRT will provide the Pole Sitter award for the AMP Pole Sitter
Larry Shaw will provide the Hard Charger award for the AMP Hard Charger
