You've all watched the video. Has anyone given any thought where it came from. Video at our
beloved sprint car races is always taken for granted. Give Mike Doyle a little credit for 1st capturing
what happened, and 2nd being willing to share it with all of you to hopefully help settle what really
happened. When I first heard about the incident, (I was not there) it sounded MUCH worse than
the video indicates. I really think alot of both Andy and Tim, and know both of them pretty well.
They are both great drivers. The unfortunate thing in these situations is, they are so full of adrenaline
and testasterone, that they are temporarily insane! I bet they will be drinking a cool one together the
next time you see them.

Couldn't agree more with you! Also Racer91 i love what you posted as well. Faster PussyCat has issues with TK that i think Oprah needs to figure out IMO. WHO CARES ANYMORE!

Unless Oprah can fix that which Professor Ron White, PhD cannot (STUPID - can't be fixed)....I don't think CA has an issue with TK.
He gives him all due props for his shoe, it's his noodle that's lacking!
Race the car three races. If you don't like it , for
any reason, return it, without damage, and we'll
refund all your money, build you a new car, or better
yet, bring me someone else's design and I'll use that
to build your next ride!

P'Cat, there are sooooo many differences between TK and Chris Simon I'm not sure which ones to discuss. Talent separates these two so greatly using them in the sentance is wrong. Most NHL goons are respected by their teammates and fellow tough guys, Chris gets little there as well. TK has a lot of respect among other drivers and undoubtedly made an error in judgment likely clouded by emotion, Lord have I gone down that road before, yikes. Bottom line, he pays his dues and probably has no axe to grind with Andy to boot, Grove Hill said it best. Good luck to both of them this and all other weekends, Take It Easy.....

I'm a fan of both these guys. The way I see it Andy was wrong up to the flag, after the flag TK was wrong. If you want to blame TK for that contact before the flag you obviously have not watched Andy race, I would have expected Andy to be in the same spot trying to pass the leader. That doesn't excuse what Tim did, but please get a grip. And if you say that Andy left Tim room, you either have not been to Chico or forgot what it looks like. The front stretch slopes down to the wall once you are over the crest and there is NO ONE in the world who can keep it out of the fence when pushed that high. Andy plain used up Tim, and Tim over-reacted.
|
how can you say Forsberg is wrong? first, he is the leader of the race. he choses the line he wants to race. if you have been to Chico you should know that Andy races the high side of the race track. So, any one that wants to pass him should go lower. not higher. Tim should know this. he also should know that the track falls off after the crest and he's gonna be sucked into the wall.

C'mon Miguel.....you know where I was headed, and if Timmy continues to act the goon, how much longer will he be respected by his peers.
Chris Simon may have been a stretch...perhaps Bob Probert; Sean Avery; Georges Laraque; Tie Domi (that one might get me in trouble)???
I'm going to hold you to the offer on the road to Guelph...
Take care!
Hey - Didn't Simon finish the '07, maybe '06 season at +17 with nearly 30 goals???

Sir Charles of Pussycatville, his best year in the last half dozen was 14 goals. He had about double that one year when his PIM's were down and he actually played like a power forward.
As to Guelph, it's not much more than an hour from me so any trip there without a stop would be more than an insult. Hey, I can tell you how big a TK fan I am and for how long and the many reasons why, they go way back, lol. Stay in touch, Take It Easy....

watch the video, I dont think there is cause for too much alarm here people. Terry McCarl has done worse in the pits no less (hannigan) and so have countless other racers. Sometimes things get blown WAY out of proportion.
I dont think I would done the same as Tim but I certainly would have done something to that guy if it was me being run into a fence. here is the clip, you decide http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1EHdR1gkYZU
|
WHHHHAAAATTTTTTTTT!!!!! Hey dumb ASS. This in no way is even close to what Terry did in the pits at Tri state speedway. Were you There? I think not. I was standing 10 feet away at the back of a trailer and watched it unfold...in that case both drivers were at fault and I listened with my own ears as Randy H admitted he slammed on his brakes to spin around. Not even a close to what TK just did.
Andy did nothing wrong and TK acted like a total jackass. This actually endangered someones life and there was nothing Andy could do to stop what happened. Tim also be careful not to bring a cloud over that team cause I can tell you they couldn't defend themselves unless Tim was there to do the fightin for em.

Still trying to see what Forsberg did wrong, he took the same line in all four corners for the last two laps...
Still see everyone is bringing up the TMAC issue. Everytime it's brought up, he sells more shirts, so good for him. What they don't mention is the reduction in penalties he had from the WoO after appeal, and the people in the pits and track employees that went to bat for him. Easy to forget for people in NW Ohio and PA who love to spout nonsense about it, but were nowhere near the track...

Not a Terry Fan, But well put Bill. Enjoy Reading your stuff! Keep it up

The incident was not a racing deal! After the fact (the checkered flag flying) 3/4 of a lap later TK takes aim and intentionally hits Andy TDC. There is no room in racing for that kind of move. Take it behind the barn dude. Doing stupid dangerous stunts in front of the public is bad for the sport. For those of you that think it is OK or just a racing deal go watch wrestling or cage fighting.

TK should be embarassed about all of the things said on here. I hope that he realizes what he has done and makes the appropriate appologies. He owes one to Andy, and his own car owner for tearing up not only Andy's equipment but his own as well. He also needs to remember his "own" words he has used more than once "it was hard racing and a racing deal" Do you think Kyle Hirst thought that earlier this year? just wondering

The last count I saw showed 10,000 comedians were out of work......and BIG DADDY is trying to be funny!!!!!
Calling an illegal immigrant an "undocumented worker"

This board can be funny at times to read. But I think we saw who the better driver was on that paticular Friday night. Tim drove back from 18th to atempt a pass for the lead on the final lap. How many could do that in 24 laps? Its was only two or three weeks before this that Andy had to start at the back of the field, and with cars crashing out and others having problems, all Andy could muster was a 7th place finish.

Way to stick to your guns....
Character speaks volumes, for its self....statistics can be manipulated to tell any story the teller wishes.
Timmy's character seems to be found wanting.
