Drove by the point on Thanksgiving but never been. I also drove right past the chicken coups on Sandy beach on my way to a cabin I stay in at Cholla Bay that is almost exactly the same as when I walked past it the first time almost 50 years ago. Corrugated front, open rafters with a padlock on the door, perfect. I mostly eat at local small restaurants or taco stands and you, where do you stay and eat. I was able to bring down some Turkeys as always this year to donate and some of my trailer trash friends also help out in various ways, we do what we can.
This is a community college, a large one spread out over 5 cities, not some high falutin 4 year and you might just be out of the loop when it comes to kids struggling to make it these days without well to do parents.
The UFW, as you well know, fought for years to keep illegals out of the fields for obvious reasons but as you also well know, it has been a lonely fight and one that they have lost.
So, just where are you thinking of building down that way or are you going to buy one of the chicken coups? My friend just built two "green" houses down in Santo Tomas. It might be a little to dull down that way but you could still be a patron.
Well maybe I'll see you at the Copper on dirt. Here a picture of me and one of my "Mexican" friends so you can look for me..LOL See you at the track . I'll be in general admission, top row towards turn one. http://i217.photobucket.com/albums/cc23/grouper01/SantoTomas-096.jpg

To me...
I would like to see jobs stay in America. Let immagrates here to work for $6.15 an hour. I mean it is a compromise. Keep the factory here and give out tons of work permits. Let them be documented and the factory stays here. Atleast republican companies aren't moving out of the US. This will be a statement BRR won't agree with but it is the Republicans that have been soft on Illegals up until this new election came up on us. It is always the rich republican guy hiring $1.00 an hour labor. Or hiring them to do his garden behind his $30 million house. It is ok, just make them come here in a legal way.
Being a patriot means letting people come to America to work. Bush is ignoring the Constitution and most of America is ignoring the Statue of Liberty. Do like the British, Aussie, New Zealanders and Canadians. Come here legally and work.
My opinions are harsh on Illegals and the people who hire them knowing it. We just need to give out more work permits. We know where they live, where they sleep, where they work, which desk is theirs. Then when there 5 year work permit is up they are sent back or asked to re apply. The problem is we need them to be documented. Taxes mainly. Maybe if we all got a little more lean on the work permits. Tis has been the weirdest statement that has ever come from my brain.
They do need to fix their own country. I have been to Mexico several several times. It needs fixed and no one does it. I have no idea why they even have an El Presidente. He does nothing.
If you come here legally, Welcome. If you come here and want to speak English and work, Welcome. If you are coming here to detassle and make $6.15, Welcome. We need to stop this outsourcing our republican companies.
Soon the only job Mexicans will be able to get in america will be at Wal Amrt cause it will be the only business alive in america. Nothing will be left here. We will be a 3rd world county claiming to be 1st rate.
And don't get me started on that subject. We are not a 1st rate country. We are 2nd world.

Depending on when we go, we'll stay at either the Penasco del Sol or the Playa Bonita......I probably am out of the loop with struggling college kids and want to stay as far away as possible from the ASU UofA crowds. Although we did run into a group celebrating their UTI graduation last year that was a blast!
I've eaten everywhere possible, from street vendors to the trendier restaurants, and don't think I've been disappointed with a meal yet. The best meal I had was a few years back....
4 seafood tacos and a beer for ~7.00 American from a street cart.
Nothing against college kids, but I want to relax, smoke a few cigars, drink and eat, fish......chase the former Ms. Duarte around the beach....
We stumbled upon a piece of property in between De Marua and La Pinta and bought it a few years back, and my wife inherited a piece of property in Bahia de Kino.
I'm planning a February trip to Manzanita with the whole clan and then a drive down to Rocky Point for a few days....gotta check baseball/volleyball schedules first......busy time of year.
I ALWAYS sit GA in between start/finish and turn one (on an aisle) any where I go!

Oh man, between De Marua and La Pinta estuaries, that's the north beach area and I'm sure you know what is going on there. http://www.concretenetwork.com/concrete/homes/design-ideas/mexico.html This is my friend Jerry's web sight you might find it interesting. I just stayed down there with him a few weeks ago and we drove miles on the beach chasing Corvina. You can't do that around PP anymore. I've been going down on and off since 56 and never stayed in anything more expensive than the playa inn. You don't want to miss the Copper this Feb, it was worth the price of admission just to see Hockett and Kaeding running the big cars up top and throwing clay OVER the fence. At this point in the game I don't care what's under the hood, just give me a good car count and some close racing.

Yes. Manzy mailed all of the season ticket holders last week stating that it's on Feb. 15-16, 2008.
Tickets can be purchased for the race now (actually went on sale Dec 3, 2007).
Joe.

The WHITE ZONE is for loading and unloading only.
If you gotta load or unload, go to the WHITE ZONE .
