There are many more old ones at http://www.mermaidracing.com/Photo.html
Wait a few more days, and I'll vote for Robert Bell's new car.

If memory serves, Think BK Won Santa Maria Title and Rookie of the Year.Making a Main with the Double O was a Feat in itself, The Competition was so tough at every Track.Thank You for sharing.

rzd alphabet, Mr. Leon had the best looking car in the country in my opinion next to the TMC sprinter. That LEW1 on the wing with that candy apple red or whatever it was, was magic! The single first sprint car photo I ever took in my life was of that car with Keith Kauffman posing next to it in the parking lot in Sidney, OH. Meeting him a few years later in a steak house in PA with Wayne Kindness and telling him how much I loved that car is a moment in racing I'll never forget, to bad the EX took him out of sprint car racing. Take It Easy.....

From racingfromthepast. This car always looked like simplicity at it's best. Looks like it could go out and win races today! I'm guessing that's a local Junior High student posing next to it? LaVern Nance was one of the kindest hearted gentlemen to ever be involved in sprint car racing.Wish everyone on the planet was as good natured as LaVern was. Here is an interesting read about LaVern Nance from racingfromthepast.

The chassis was a Bromme built buy Bruce Bromme. He made the best looking race cars on the left coast during the 70's and 80's. Watching Dean Thompson back that car into turn 1 at Ascot sent chills down your spine.

Barry C, it was Farmington or Pevely. I believe he won the track championship at both places that year. I will ask him which place it was at. That is my favorite car of Tubby's, it was Pearl White.
