add McCarl, Kinser and Schatz to the growing list that has called the POSSE the BEST IN THE COUNTRY when interviewed by reputable racing press outlets, and not quoted .

MSPN used to travel too...until the "tow money" did not pay the bills.

Let's see how many of last years replacement outlaws make it to the PA swing...maybe Mulligan will pry himself ourt of the woodwork to attend?

funny that you did not mention or praise the 3 canadian drivers performance at the same event...check the finishing order...dismal.

keep cheerleading your pet 360 cherry pickers..we need entertainment.

The Posse used to travel. They used to go to the Kings Royal and they used to go to Lernerville when the Outlaws were in town. After continually being pounded they stopped, probably smart on their part, lol. My point has always been to the few that want to keep telling me they're the best in the country, yadda yadda yadda. The facts tell us that they haven't been competitive at either Grandview or Port (local Posse tracks) for years and basically the success has always been at one track, America's Slowest Half Mile.

Hawker, you travel to compete, period end of story. Why run with the best when you can continually beat up on the Sisters of the Poor. None of the big three exsist anymore so maybe this will soon be an old or no story, yeah right!

This place is sad and depressing to a few Posse fans only, if that's where your heart is then stay with the Disney channel or the Williams Grove Forum where nay-sayers are edited, daily, lol. If one little three word expression is going to cause havoc and destruction to the porch cheerleaders then methinks this is going to be a very, very long season. I will continue to remind those that need to know just where in the picture their heroes are, hang on, this might get bumpy, Take It Easy....

The fact that you are so desperate to trash the Posse that you have to bring them up after a 360 race in Florida shows how obsessed you are.

You say how they used to travel ... Well, they also used to only race 50-60 races a year and the purses and points didn't pay what they do today. The sport is nothing like it was 10-15 years ago, the cost of racing has gone through the roof. These are not excuses, they are facts. I do believe more teams from Central PA go to Knoxville now than ever did back in the day ... I don't hear you complaining about that.

Why don't you dig up some old results from Eldora and show us all the Posse you claim used to go out there on a regular basis. I remember being at the first couple Ohio Speedweeks and I don't think there was even a single Posse at Eldora. That was when there was no PA Speedweeks to compete against it and Kinser and the guys were all there. I think Bobby Davis Jr. was winning in the Weikert car at the time and he wasn't even there. Rarely do you see any guys from outside Ohio show up there ... GET OVER IT!

Then you blame it on the track (yawn)... I don't recall Kinser complaining about the track when he was waxing our ass on a regular basis. Or Schatz when he is usually walking away with all the cash.

You are like the half-drunk know-it-all at a party who always instigates an argument because he knows he has a couple of observations that can't be proven wrong. Like the loser who is always yelling "Gordon Sucks!" and wants to agrue with everybody because Gordon didn't win the last 10 races. Hating Gordon is his life ... hating the Posse is yours. How sad ...

Yo' migetboy, I've been educating the clueless like yourself for ten years in this forum and you've made, what, 3 posts, great job. I am sure you have a new alias though, having been embarassed long enough by me under some stupid old one, some things never change, lol.

There were close to double digit Posse racers at the Kings Royal in the early 90's, including the big dogs like Fred, Lance and Mr. Kreitz, you likely don't wanna remember and I can't blame you. The Donald did sit in Victory Lane though and hence is now and always will be known as the King around those parts.

By the way, I am not complaining either, I am enjoying the results like I have for the most part for the last decade in this forum, get a clue. The desperate types like Baby Right Rear are the ones that have to bring up the fact that three Canadians were there, who cares, I don't. If they ever start trying to tell the world they are the best/greatest etc etc I will divulge the stats to break that ballon also. The Grove is the toughest competitor for the Outlaws in Central PA, about every where else it's no contest for the most part. You have the most weakly 410 racing in the country, it's the least you can do to be competitive. Pretty sad that you can't produce the touring type though, oops. Central PA, home of the big fish in the little pond syndrome, until this year, oops.

As for Gordon, I like him, he's not my favorite but I can appreciate the talent and desire he has and the fact he is one of the best there ever was in his sport. I generally correct the half drunks at those parties by the way, it's always better to finish the debate than start it, especially with you porch dwellers, have a nice day. Take It Easy....

PS Stop making this so easy, pick up your game or grab your marbles and go home and BRR, get creative on your own, the whole world knows that YOU are the biggest Posse cheerleader, I am not in your class there at all, you go girl, lol.....

But you know what openwheel? It is just like a soap opera, you don't read for awhile, come back and read the posts and it picks up where you quit reading at. Thus, nobody misses a thing.

I have learned that I am taking BRR side on this subject as he is right on everything he posts. Just like when he said that DIRT and the WoO would fail and the NST was alive and well.

So, let me get this right. You only compete when you travel??? So then, with that reasoning, the only competition in sprint car racing in the USA is with the WoO, USAC, ASCoT, All Stars and such. What is the MSPN mileage criteria for a race to be competitive? 50, 100, 150....over 200 miles? When a driver DOES drive that distance, is HE the only one competing? Or does that automatically make that EVENT competitive? If there are four heat races, and only one has a traveler, is that the only one that is deemed competitive in the MSPN guide of competitive sprint car racing?

Now yur gettin' into the fuzzy math and arbitrary criteria Hawk. Please don't confuse the issue with these silly questions.

Educating? lol

I used to post on here all the time on the old board with the same name. Life has been busy and I just haven't had time to "waste" on here responding to people like yourself. I guess you can blame it on me settling down with a wife and kids ... guess I "Stay on the Porch" so to speak. Guess that doesn't make me a "Real" fan. To be a real fan, you gotta live life out of a mini-van, right?

The King's Royal was a big deal back when it started. Everybody was all excited the first couple years, then the novelty wore off and the (non-WoO/All-Star/Ohio) car counts went down. I mean, Kreitz doesn't go back and he even won the thing, what does that tell you.

You can keep singing your Nelli Vannili hit "Blame it on the Track" about The Grove all you want. Bottom line is, the Outlaws get beat there more than any other track in the country ... THAT IS A FACT.

Yeah I was looking at the point races. I thought Danny had won one. My point is that the Champ Sprints are just as competitive as the Injected sprints with anybody in the A feature of either class able to win.

Hey Nelligan, fstop here, just changed my name on here since I hung up the camera and discovered the good life. You not going south this year? Mr Mac and me will be down on the 7th, glad to hang out with you if you're there.

I've known Nelligan for almost 20 years, he hasn't changed a bit the whole time I've known him, a good guy with an opinion, otherwise known as a fan. Some of you need to get a life. When you've accomplished something yourself then you can brag about it, nothing sadder than someone being obnoxious because of someone elses success. Better a has been than the alternative, otherwise you're just a sad case of a never will be. At least a has been, once was.

The only people more passionate about their beliefs than the Posse fans are the ones currently trying to take over the world from the Middle East. Thank God the Posse fans are a peace loving bunch! It's been a long quiet winter on here, good to see everyones coming out of hibernation.

With all due respect to you fstop, and just so I'm clear on this one..........this is a message board........right?? When you come on here and make a statement (true or false), you solicit each and every persons opinion who choses to read that board. You say Mulligan is a good guy, with an opinion, in other words a fan...........there seems to be a few others like that on here also. I guess we all need to get a life.......including you?? As long as Mikey chooses to make ignorant, uneducated observations, there will be folks checking in to refute his fiction. You are correct, the hibernation is over..........26 days till' the Ice Breaker.

although i sometimes agree with mspn(albeit rarely)he has to get his head out of his ass.i said it before and i'll say it again,if a pa guy would choose to travel, there is no doubt in my mind that he would adapt to the road and do extremely well.the fact of the matter is and it has been stated on here numerous times is with the cost of racing is so prohibitive that with the quantity of racing available locally creates little incentive to travel, not some imagined "fear" of the road.mikey, have you seen the price of diesel fuel lately? you have to get away from romanticizing racing as if it still was the 70's or 80's and realize that it is a business.then again i'm preaching to the choir while the facts go in one ear and out the other and freeze in the cold canadian air. eh?

Personally, and being one veteran of this thing like most of you are, I am okay with the questioning of ones thoughts and opinions - even though that is there right and ours too. However, the personal attacks are what is low-class and very uncalled for. It is something classless, no moral people would do.

Like Hawker and I emailed to each other over the weekend, we don't agree on the DIRT/WoO thing and he is strong on his opinion, but that is his right as it is my right for what I feel and others. We respect each opinions and when is all said and done, in the end when we meet up at a racetrack, we will probably buy each other a bottled water or beverage of choice and enjoy the racing on the track. We agree to disagree, not make it a personal attack which seems to always occur with the names at hand.

Perhaps some of you need to resort to private emails or phone calls to air your dirty laundry and personal attacks as it don't belong on a message board - where everybody is right and everything is the truth.

Ladies, may I repeat for the NNNNNTHHHH time. To be the best you have to beat the best, wouldn't you agree? Hence, you have to beat the Outlaws at more than just the Grove and you have to at least attempt to beat them when they are within a few hours of home, wouldn't you agree?

Racing the same 20 guys 75 times a year doesn't get the job done, FOR ME!

Midget guy, the Kings royal is STILL a big deal and the last few times that Kreitz went he was in the C-Main, you really haven't a clue dude! Let me make another point for you because you've missed this one for years also. The Outlaws do get beat at the Grove more than anywhere else, Correctomundo!! Riddle me this, when they race the same Posse drivers at Grandview and Port Royal why do they dominate, hmmmmm? The Grove is considered to be the toughest track on the tour to race at and always has been, ask any of the drivers. Another point that you won't believe either, the Outlaws still have won around 79% of the time at the Grove over the years also, this fact comes from a Posse stat man as well. All time Outlaw winners at the Grove, Steve 37, Mark 18, and Sammy with 14. If you count the top 10 and ties then you will find there are TWO lifetime Posse drivers who raced there on a regular basis, The Donald and Lance. Read that last statement carefully, lol. I print these numbers because I've met Posse fans who actually think and believe that they dominate the Outlaws, outright punish them, when the reality is just the opposite. Congrats on getting your priorities and life in order, just get your sprint ones in the same shape and the world will be right again.

Zemco, I understand why they don't travel anymore, always have. I've owned a few businesses in my time and it most certainly is not a wise decision to try and beat these guys on the road anymore. I seriously disagree with your statement that somebody from PA would do extrememly well though. Greg is the only driver to really win on the road from PA and he was still living in TN driving a Posse car at the time, how ironic that he won a couple at Charlotte and Tunica yet only ever has one win at the Grove over the years, weird huh?

Hawk, play fantasy racing or play dumb, I'm pretty confident you know my point relative to these circumstances.

Drak, you need to tell me about my ignorant and uneducated observations. All of this started because of three words that cut like a knife when meant as a joke, lol. NICE POSSE REPRESENTATION, ewwwww what a nasty, horrible, ignorant unedcuated thing to say. Two Posse guys made the A one night and missed the other two and I am so nasty coz' I didn't know them, are you serious? All you want to do is attack or engage in mud throwing, you've annointed yourself as Defender of the Posse when in reality it's just cheerleader number two with BabyRightRear you're almighty leader.

Hey Tommy Bahama, how in the health are ya'? I am missing Florida this year but will try and listen on this thing to a few of the races. To think I can finally stay at home on the porch and have a chance to be the expert all those other people are, sure beats 100+ shows on the road every year, NOT! Bring me home one of them dang doughnuts, will ya', lol? Tell Chris that next year I will be finally old enough to try out for the Dead Wings, Take It Easy....

PS Thanks to all, most entertaining half hour each day, really...
