Totally uncalled for and dangerous-It's not lack of ability keeping him from an outlaw ride.

"At a closing speed of about 100mph he didn't have time to aim" Are you crazy! That was no way 100 mph! I don't know where you get your radar gun theory on that one. I don't agree with the incident, but come on if you think he was going 100 mph. It was posted on the NorCal board by Robbie Padjen that their would be some sort of fine or penalty, i think they can handle their own affairs very well.

If two cars are traveling towards each other at approximately 50mph each that equals a closing speed of 100mph. I'm not crazy, just educated. I'm assuming you dropped out by 4th grade before basic math.

Conspicuous silence from wheelie and kelly???
Not the first instance of retaliation either...just ask Jason Meyers.

TK would have won the race had he not jumped the cushion in 1-2 - but the deal in 3-4 was a last ditch effort that failed. TK has a break pedal in the car...does he not?
regardless of the speed - that was total bullsh!t after the flags - fine, repair bill and time out for TK.

Cole Trickle got penalized. for driving off pit lane into another driver... so should TK. The only difference is, when Cole did it it was in a MOVIE... I think TK is a great driver, but I really hope this incident shows him to use a little more common sense in the future. If he was a WoO driver in a WoO race when he did that he would have probably been banned for a few races, if not for the rest of the season.

I read all the post of why TK should be driving this car and that car maybe this is why he doesn't get those rides. Sponsors I'm sure wouldn't find that good for there company. TK is sure fun to watch but all you TK fans for any of you to think Andy did anything wrong you are blind and then if you think he shouldn't be punished you are stupid. These race cars cost alot of money and TK doesn't pay for any of it. I think his owner should make him pay for what ever he tour up like Ray Evernham made Kasey do after he did something like that and maybe next time TK will think about doing it twice. TK fans take your TK BLINDERS OFF.

That's funny, a Tony Stewart fan lecturing TK fans to take responsibility for for what TK did. I have seen Tony do a lot of stupid things that were worse than what Tim did!! I think McCarls tyraid shoving Hannigan through the pits was a bit more dangerous than what Tim did. I don't condone what Tim did, he just had a major brain fart at a bad time. Tim has matured so much since he was in Stevie's car and with all the fall out from this I am sure this will be the last time something like this will happen because he learns from his mistakes. A lot of people on this board act like this is the first time something like this has happened on a race track! I have seen a lot of stupid things at race tracks from a lot of big name drivers. The competitiveness these guys have is unreal and sometimes it gets the best of them. McCarl has not always been the smartest but he still has a good sponsor that allows him to run with the WoO, and I am glad he does because he is an ultracompetitive guy that is fun to watch! While I don't like seeing people loose there judgement, it is also what makes a lot of these guys great!

If it was an average driver, they would probably ask him or her to think about his actions for awhile and not come back until the 2009 season and get their head straight and decide if they want to race, or throw temper tantrums if things don't go their way. Just because you are fast, spectatular at times, can beat the WOO, etc does not give you an excuse to be STUPID with a 850 HP sprint car that could easily create damage or even kill somebody when you are going the wrong way down the track with cars running on it and raming into another car. (YOU DO THAT WITH VIDEO GAMES DUH or demo derbies)
What other driver but a Kaeding could light up message boards all across the country. The CRA board is talking about criminal charges (not going to happen) but that shows the severity, the Nor Cal board obviously is very well lit up with past indescrections of Tim (and the Kaeding family), and its gotten personal with Forsberg too. I wonder what other message boards, even the stock car boards are probably having a good laugh. This video may even make it too a National Sport Cable Bloopers reel. Thanks Tim, for giving exposure to sprint cars
Lets remember, it looked like a great night of racing. Period. Until Tim just lost it and drove backwards on the track and rammed a competitor. Think about it. If it was Joe Smith, Kyle Busch, etc there should be some harsh painful consequences some that NOBODY EVER EVEN THINKS ABOUT DOING ANYTHING REMOTELY like this with a sprint again. The penalitis I am hearing is $500 and 3 local races. Doesn't sound like a penalty to me when Tim is probably just going to go out on a planned Road Trip anyway. As many have PROPOSED, if you was to have to sit out all remaining events at Chico, including the Gold Cup. There definitely would be pain, consequences to his actions. Otherwise, Tim will have learned nothing. Do you really think he cares a rats ass what anyone says or writes on here. You saw what he thinks about his competitors right.
Some say just move on. I for one am getting tired of seeing similiar stuff, (not to this degree), but needless torn up race cars from stupid driving especially when car counts are down at the local tracks.

If I remember right,TK pulled a move like that at the knoxville nats. in a non qualifiers race about 6 or 7 years ago. Maybe not this extreme but he ran into somebody after the race.

I think what you are referring to is at the Nationals when TK and Haud were driving the Beef Packers team cars. Jac put a slider on TK in the B for the last transfer spot and TK didn't like it.

Whats it say in the Bible, 'let ye who has not sinned cast the first stone'....
TK goofed, he'll tell you that but dang folks he watched BK charge at him a whole lot faster and with a front wheel missing a few years ago. Maybe he had a flashback from the Brent move. Bottom line, we've all said and done things we regret and this is likely TK's biggest, ask him.
He'll be fine, so will Andy (a helluva racer who could easily tour) and they'll race each other without grudges because they are winners, both of them. Robbie and John will handle it properly because they get it. Posters in here are making it bigger than what it is right now, spontaniety bites us in the @$$ now and then and this is unfortunately a classic example. Get over it folks, this ain't the end of the world and for those that don't think stuff like this has happened at most tracks in the country under a different umbrella (and much higher speed), wake up. Nobdoy got hurt thankfully, and a lesson has been learned, hopefully. Good luck to both racers this weekend and unless you have to, don't Take It Easy.....

It doesn't appear Forsberg "pinched him into the wall". Plenty of room left. He kept his line through the middle and didn't seem to make any directional change toward Kaeding.

I watched that video about 15 times, and I am glad someone has the same opinion as me... in my eyes Andy was holding his line. I think TK is a great racecar driver, just too bad he can't settle for second place... I guess finishing 21st instead will make him happy. Next week should be an interesting race.

Similar instance eh? Took exception to being run into the wall and retaliated after the play was over...

I'm a fan of both these guys. The way I see it Andy was wrong up to the flag, after the flag TK was wrong. If you want to blame TK for that contact before the flag you obviously have not watched Andy race, I would have expected Andy to be in the same spot trying to pass the leader. That doesn't excuse what Tim did, but please get a grip. And if you say that Andy left Tim room, you either have not been to Chico or forgot what it looks like. The front stretch slopes down to the wall once you are over the crest and there is NO ONE in the world who can keep it out of the fence when pushed that high. Andy plain used up Tim, and Tim over-reacted.
