I will agree with you that Placerville is a tough place to win but if you took the top 5 or 6 drivers in the points from Ocean and P-ville and had a series and raced at both tracks..I would put my money on the Ocean drivers .....9 out of 10 times...JMO

just to give credit to some ocean drivers and in case some folks do not know the caliber of competition there, here are the top 5 in points and a little of their accomplishment. just off the top of my head . feel free to correct me or add to what i have if you want.

it is woth it to mention tommy tarlton (come on it's tommy what more can i say!), craig stidham (trophy cup winner) stephen allard (defending chico track champion), craig smith (johnny key winner) as regulars as well. ronnie day ran as a regular last year and has subed for his brother kieth at a race this year. (since i mentioned the johnny key, might as well honor his win in that too)
i by no means wish to negate any of the p-ville guy's abilities or accomplishments. i am just showing a little of the ocean competition here since the subject was brought up. anyone care to post a comparison? friendly rivalry since we have a civil war race at ocean at the end of the season.
