"Greatness is measured in stats. Kinser 500+, Swindell 250+."
That means Kyle Petty is a better stock car racer than A.J Foyt. Petty 8 career wins, Foyt 7
It takes more than just numbers to measure greatness. Hauds history speaks for itself. He should be in the Hall of Fame the first year he is elgible.

Just let me know which driver you want me to call out friday. Misguided or coincidence? Greatness is measured in stats. Kinser 500+, Swindell 250+.

if you got any balls you'll call out haud with patty standing next to him. lmfao.
greatness is measured by the mark you leave. and the marks patty will leave on you WILL be great.
oh and haud, he'll just sit there and laugh.

It's an opinion. Greatness is Kinser, Gordon, Swindell, Tiger Woods, Jordan. Individuals who dominate their sport for extended periods of time.

He did dominate his sport with and without a wing. Then still winning when he is twice the age as others on the track. Domination does not make greatness. Mark Martin is greatness and he never dominated. Dale Earnhardt took years to earn his Daytona 500 win and was greatness. If you can't look back and see the numbers in Jac's past and see domination then you are blind to facts and racing all in general.

opinions are all fine. yours as well whatever the subject. but..... you asked a question. you asked if haud was a little over rated. one persons rating criteria could be very different than anothers. statistically speaking haud has never been over rated. i have never really heard jac being recognisable for all his woo wins or championships, cause as you point out his woo record in those catagories is far out shadowed. haud has never been a good points racer. he'll tell you that. but if you rate him on his accomplishments in the sport and his abilities in the seat he is a top name. others have said it here already by reminding us of what jac has done thru the years. one noteable check mark on his scoresheet is being the only driver to ever win the front row challenge. i got to watch that race a couple of months ago with bonz and jac on tape and everyone in the room was yelling and cheering as haud flew through traffic to take the win. hell jac was even doing body english with the rest of us as we watched the car slice accross the tv screen. he only had one eye open a few times. which was more than i think he had open at times during the actual race. shortly after that i was on the web and haud was asking me to check this track and that track for feature wins he had. stoga, ascot, chico, eldora, sharon ect. winged and non-winged up the wins popped. i turned to jac (excuse me that would be mr.wild child sir lol) and said gee haud you used to be pretty good. he just said yep and smiled.
so you rate him anywhere you want on your list. i don't think he will have a problem with that.

To view all of your favorite sprint car drivers stats/figures (over-rated or under-rated), go check out Kevin Eckerts: Open Wheel Times - Driver Reporting/Auditing database. It is an awesome resource. Just type in their name, date they first started driving, and the current date. Then, click 'Check Query'.
BTW, the 'Wild Child' is NOT over rated whatsoever and never will be...he is a true 'outlaw'.
