LMAO, classy response, PA style. Man, have I hit a nerve or what, hmmmm. I've not mentioned Florida a whole lot but it appears I need to hit the Grove board and wake it up a bit with some more reality, right? It's okay, the Outlaws will be at the Grove later this year where the track gives the Posse the only chance they have. Your scenario is stupid, I asked for examples and you don't have any, you work on a car, you're smarter than that, right?
By the way, who busts people from a distance, I've said it straight up many times unlike hollering snively remarks from a distance, like at Hagerstown, lol? The truth hurts those that are too dumb to realize it, deal with it and move on. Take It Easy....
PS Photos, get in line and buy 'em, like the rest.....

Soccer, enough said, go to the rear and you most certainly will never get a lap back. Y A W NNNNNNNN. Take It Easy.....
PS If anyone can show me where a lapped car ever came back to win a sprint car race I might not think some of the anti-whiners aren't all that dumb. At the same time if there is anyone that hasn't seen a lapped car screw up a race then you haven't been to many.....

maybe many soccer fans would say the same about you or I watching cars go around in circles all day.
Different people like different things.

We've heard from the dozen or so fans on this message board who think this new rule is going to be the death of sprint car racing. But I also heard thousands of fans cheer at the Knoxville Nationals last year, when Justin Zoch announced to the crowd that for the first time, the Knoxville Nationals were not leaving the overlapped cars in where they were running. They would be put to the rear of the field. And in them thousands of fans, there's probably a few die hard fans, don't you think?
And I'll lay odds that if you were to ask the drivers on the tour what they thought, a far majority of them would know that this new rule will benefit them more times than it would hurt them.
You're at any of the big paying races, under (5) laps to go, and the yellow or red comes out. I don't care who you are, Kinser, Shatz, Lasoski, Saldana, whoever, and if you're not leading and there happens to be (1) or more lapped cars between you and the leader, or even if you're in 6th and there's a lapped car or (2) between you and 5th, you're going to like this rule. At least the smart ones will.
The argument that the leader had to work his butt off to pass that back marker, so should eveybody else. I would venture to guess, that more than (75) percent of the time that leader blew right by that lapped car faster than Britney can take her underwear off. And from what I am told, that's pretty fast.
(Nodust, feel free to jump in here with a picture if you so choose!)
I like the rule of putting the lapped cars to the rear. It's more fair to more of the racers than leaving them in line. On any given short track, I live (10) miles from Husets and it's a place where the WoO runs every year, with their line up procedures, the fastest cars always start up front. You can count on the leader beginning to lap cars somewhere around lap (4) or so. If they happen to go a dozen laps or so under green, I've seen where the leader has lapped over half the field by then. If you're racing hard, lap after lap for, let's say, 7th position. The leader happens to get between you and that 7th place car and the yellow comes out, your race is over. You line up in the second spot behind the leader, you're still in 8th place, but the 7th place car who was right in front of you, is now at the tail end of the pack and the ONLY way you can improve your position, would be if any of the cars ahead of you drop out. Your race is over. Period. Now that's exciting.
I like the rule. And apparently, so do the thousands of fans who were applauding that decision at the Knoxville Nationals last year...CZ

yeah lapped cars to the back is a good idea for the fans. Not so sure about the drivers, but I don't know too much about that.
The BS I was talkin about is if lapped cars were given their lap back, and since that doesn't seem to be the case..........more power to DIRT.

Here is an example. 2004? King's Royal. Jason Sides wins cause he was the last car out with the original tires on it. Same friggin difference. Each time the guys that had flats started in the rear. the same as the lucky dog is gonna due. It can happen, not matter what your knucklehead brain may think. No I don't work on a car & certainly have never seen a person even browsing you materials at Knoxville Natl's anytime I walked past your port a john!!!

Jason was on the lead lap. Had no passing on that rubber down POS of a track.
My understanding would be that any lucky dog would still go behind anyone on the lead lap.
So a car (the leader) causes the yellow, changes tires and is still on the lead lap and would be in front of the lucky dog.
So how is that the "Same friggin difference"?

I AM SAYING IF THE LUCKY DOG WOULD COME IN & CHANGE TIRES & START ON THE REAR. OK so Sides was on the lead lap but didn't Kemanah come back up & finish second after his flat.
Same scenario because once you get the lucky dog award you are on the same lap anyway.

Not really important because this particular race would have had NO effect one way or the other with the lucky dog rule. Kemenah came back to finish 3rd but partially because he was the first to change his tire. Chaney was 2nd and the only other one besides Sides to not change tires or wreck.
But I do get your point on how the lucky dog could effect the outcome of a race, just wouldn't happen in your example.
