This works like is always does. Mikey starts off with some stupid comment and then a few Pa fans reply to it. Same shit different day. Mikey's opinions aren't worth a pint of piss so I simply don't care what he thinks or says - Neither do the WoO drivers I've talked to or the Posse drivers I've talked to - most of them just laugh and blow it off because it's pointless. MSPN has made these issues the most important thing on his agenda so let him go. It doesn't mean he's right, it just means that you are wasting your time arguing with him because he will never change.
The world moves on with or without him. He's just a guy that has made a name for himself through the internet message boards. Other than that, he's just a photographer like myself. He's a legend in his own mind. I stopped coming to Hoseheads because of all the stupid BS he stirs up. Every once in a while I log on and guess what? It's the same old thing over and over. Life's too short...
The guys running in Florida from Pa. aren't even 410 racers, for the most part the guys racing are 358 racers that have taken the chance to go to Florida and race 360's against the best in the business. They are running different motors and different wings. It's a different deal from what they usually run and the fact they have done as well as they have is a tribute to their ability as racers, no matter where they are from.

Waaaa, waaaaa, Mikey is being tough on our guys again, PLEASE make him stop, waaaaa.
If all it takes is 3 words like 'nice Posse representation' then you ladies have the biggest set of rabbit ears I've ever heard of, let it go.
Mike, the truth hurts and the truth is what I preach in here and when I am wrong you can correct me, good luck. These issues are pointless but when raised get screams like monsters are chasing a few Posse fans, it's rather funny. You guys brought it on years ago with your bravado and I have merely corrected the BS with facts which when studied are not very kind to the Posse fan, c'est la vie. The only name I made of myself was through selling tens of thousands of sprint car enlargements, sorry Mike, heck you bought some years ago when you were just starting.
Drank, it ain't double talk, it's congratulating some guys I never heard of from your area on a good night of racing. When you make an A-Main with 70 cars in the pits that's a big deal. It is hardly relevant if I ever took a picture of any of them and who cares if I know them, what does that mean, lol? Curt Michael is a great guy and he laughs at what I do to cheerleaders like you, he can deal with the truth, why can't you? I could care less what anyone thinks and you of all people should know this, isn't it time to let it go, it sure seems like this is killing you and your Posse brothers. As a 35 year Flyers fan I've taken the gas pipe for the last 30 and for the first time ever they are the worst team in the league, whatch you gonna do? Nothing I can do about it and I don't worry over spilled milk. Heck, the Bears have killed me for 20 years but I finally might get to see a change soon. You need to pay attention to a wise old saying; If there's nothing you can do about it, why worry about it? Grin and bear it, but let it go, a billion Chinese certainly aren't worried. Take It Easy.....

Nelligan it's actually interesting that you start a post with Waaaa, waaaaa since this year's Knoxville Nationals will be the 10 year anniversary of the Waaaawaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh heard around the world from your buddy Sammy (on live TV no less). With that said it's starting to sound like some of the posse fans have skin as thin as some Sammy fans. Let me let you in on a little secret some of you might have missed: A lot of the stuff that gets put out on these boards by SOME people (not naming names to protect the innocent) is bait. When someone takes the bait and get wound up it's called ENTERTAINMENT by the folks who place the bait. Some know it, fan the flames, and enjoy the fire. Ain't this Internet thing just grand.........

I'll check back in here in about a year and I'm willing to bet it'll be the same old - same old....
Some things just never change...LOL! Some of us have learned to move on!
Oh BTW - Congrats to Gary Wright on his win - That is way more important than anything else that will be said. I met Gary a few times and I'm a fan of his. A class act and a hell of a racer!
See ya in a year! Be safe!

Hey Cheese, I kinda differ on your remark that the carb sprints at SFS isn't as competitive as the injected sprints. There were 10 different winners in each class and the carb sprints had 55 cars regestered where as the injected sprints only had 47 cars registered. Alot of guys that ran injected also ran carb sprints.Pay attention and watch our features sometime. Oh I forgot you are just a bonehead LOL

The King of the 360's is a joke. Mike likes to rag on the PA 410 drivers that didn't make the tow but refuses to mention the guys from Knoxville that run 360's weekly and even the 2006 360 Nationals champ that failed to show.
|
Jesse Gianetto, the '06 360 Nationals champ, does not have a ride. Sold all his stuff after the season. Makes it kind of hard to race if you don't have a car.

I didn't mean not competitive, I meant that only 10 or so people can win. In the Super class almost anyone can win, and there are very few back markers (except for me). I actually watch the Champ feature each night because I'm a fan as much as a driver (and it helps with knowing where to run on the track.) I'd be willing to bet that the classes will be even in car counts, if not even closer than this year, because there are 6 new people that I know of coming out in supers this year.

Damn Brandon (Cheese) that was well said. Yeah Oklahoma is a great place for sprint car racing. I think we're doing pretty well here in the Sooner state. It could be a lot worse......just look at Kansas (I think cheese would agree). Although Cheese I don't expect those 3's at SFS next year. I'm thinkin 27-33 supers and an average of 23 or so in champs. I think the tracks surfaces are better here than in many other places. I don't think many of our tracks in Oklahoma go dry slick as much as many others do. But I agree with Cheese on the mentality of fans in the local 410 hotbeds. Although I personally found most fans in and around Knoxville to be quite courteous and open-minded about their locals vs. outsiders. Ohio, CA, and PA may be different or it may be the same. But there are a few people in some of those places that give the rest a bad rep.
Hey Cheese, you gonna win the Super Sprint Championship?
Remember to watch for other drivers' right rear this year (that's a joke) Good luck out there this year.

I'll see what I can do. I think to do that I'd need new tires every time out, and that's not going to happen with the primary sponsor being a broke college student (me). It's going to be tough to even get top 15...Hopefully the motor holds up and I stay out of trouble out there.

Thanx for the heads up calendarguy. I am well aware of Mulligans tactics.........even more so now that he's a washed up has been. I was simply trying to point out to everyone that the fool didn't know how much of an idiodic statement his bock, bock, bock was............there were PA cars represented in the top 10. LMAO. The damage was already done by the time you were informed and backpedaled Mulligan. Mikey........you pretend to know me, and claim I have thin skin.........you really are off base. I'll engage you when you're wrong brother.........I can promise you that. Otherwise........when a tree falls in the woods........

I guess you're awful glad I never asked how those guys did the last two nights, my bad.
If reacting the way you and your head cheerleader did isn't thinned skin then I have more to learn, lol. I never reveresed my field either, too old to start that Posse trait. I desperately want to see some new Posse talent, otherwise this debate is over and it's way too much fun for that to happen. History tells us there is one new good guy every decade or so from your area and you're due, if the Hammer travels you're off the hook for years to come, lol. Take It Easy....
PS 'washed up has been', THX for the compliment, really...

What next ... Nelly clucking because no Posse were at the Daytona 500? What about no Posse in F1? Gonna jump on us about that too?
To me, the 360's are no more than the Craftsman Truck series of sprint car racing. Sure, it's nice, it's good racing ... but it's not the cream of the crop ... never will be. A couple of wanna-be's, a couple has-been's, a couple cherry pickers and a mixture of upcoming talent and regular racers.
You will never understand that traveling across the country is simply not a major goal of the racers and teams in Central PA. If it was, they would have signed on last year with the WoO when they were begging for teams. Why go on the road when you can make a good living at home.
If this concerns you so much, why don't you get in Rahmer's face and let him have it the next time you come to town. We could even make a public event out of it ... have a round table or something so you can tell all the drivers what chickens they are for not traveling.
Your true hatred/jealousy of the PA sprint car scene is unending and truely sad.
First sprint car race of the year and Nelly already jumping on the Posse ... it was even a 360 race at that.
I'm with Zortman ... see you in a year ... this place is sad and depressing.

Once again Cheese I disagree with you. There just as many carb sprint guys that could win a feature as the injected guys. Remember your cousin didn't win a carb feature and did win a injected feature. I know you are just a bonehead

You might be right, but in his defense he was driving the last non-downtube car in America, and probably the oldest car out there (except for Dutch's). It was one of Shane Carson's old 12 cars from the late 80's I think.

About the issue of the long tow?
Bruce Ellis said it all in the new SC&M... "Esh made more money in 7 races than 4 of the Mean 15 did in the whole season."
Why travel if you don't have to?

The Posse used to travel. They used to go to the Kings Royal and they used to go to Lernerville when the Outlaws were in town. After continually being pounded they stopped, probably smart on their part, lol. My point has always been to the few that want to keep telling me they're the best in the country, yadda yadda yadda. The facts tell us that they haven't been competitive at either Grandview or Port (local Posse tracks) for years and basically the success has always been at one track, America's Slowest Half Mile.
Hawker, you travel to compete, period end of story. Why run with the best when you can continually beat up on the Sisters of the Poor. None of the big three exsist anymore so maybe this will soon be an old or no story, yeah right!
This place is sad and depressing to a few Posse fans only, if that's where your heart is then stay with the Disney channel or the Williams Grove Forum where nay-sayers are edited, daily, lol. If one little three word expression is going to cause havoc and destruction to the porch cheerleaders then methinks this is going to be a very, very long season. I will continue to remind those that need to know just where in the picture their heroes are, hang on, this might get bumpy, Take It Easy....
