Let me get this straight. All of you assholes who are bashing the greatest driver EVER, along with the other two drivers who voiced their outrage (and the countless other spineless drivers without the balls to come forward) are supporting the decision of the WoO officials?

I was sitting in turn 3 and 4.Wilson did nothing wrong,he stayed on the bottom and pulled in the pits as told.Donny ran the bottom and no driver/drivers were in his way.He plain and simple ran a shitty line and screwed up! PERIOD!!! If your gonna give a guy an extra lap,at least make him go to the tail end and wait! But,in this day and age of outlaw racing, stick to your guns,2 laps and 2 only! The best one counts, not the 3rd one!

Donny Schatz as a Person vs Donny Schatz as a Racer

Donny Schatz as a Person in my opinion is an ASS! Last year at King's Royal security was leading his royal assness through the stands down to the track and was less then 6 inches from myself and my 7 year old daughter. My daughter was excited needless to say because this was not only her first sprint car race but that she was that close to the winner. She looked right at his royal assness and said I picked you to win in which his royal assness yelled at her "what the f##k did you call me?" She'd was more than stunned. Well being the over protective Mom that I am I wasn't going to let this go. We continued through out the pits where she was able to meet other drivers, receive autographs and experience what sprint car drivers are all about, the fans. However, we reached his royal assness's hauler and she wanted his autograph even after the way he spoke to her but that was not gonna happen without an apology. He did apologize but not until I had a few words with him. I'm sure he does not remember this at all but I do and from that day forward, the first thing I think of when I hear the name Donny Schatz is PIECE OF TRASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Steve Kinser as a Person vs Steve Kinser as a Racer

One word for both AWESOME!!!! Previously that same day we took my daughter down to the track to show her what it was like and where the haulers would be etc etc. As we were heading towards the track we passed some of the racer's motorhomes. What luck, Steve Kinser was outside of his and she was able to meet him. That night after the race she had purchased a Steve Kinser shirt and wanted to show him. (7 year old thinking that he would remember her from earlier that day) We went to Mr. Kinser's hauler and he was busy signing autographs, he looked up and called out my daughter by name and said "what are you wearing?" She was elated he remembered her and got her shirt signed. Out of all the fans he see's and speaks with he remembered one little girl and has a fan for life.

Maybe not significant but shows Class vs Trash!!!!!!!

Ahh, another p.o.s. Kinser hater...

I in no way hate Kinser. Just playing BRR! Kinser is the best of all time, I admitted that in one of my posts. No one will ever accomplish what the man has done with his career in sprint car racing!! But I think some need to also give Donny some credit for becoming what he has in the WoO! BRR is one of those guys that don't. Only playing him and seems to be working!!! You like donuts too?

Why if someone talked to your daughter that way would you take her over to get an autograph from them? Maybe the reason Donny wouldn't remember this is because it didn't happen I am not calling you a liar you are just a bad story teller. He has a daughter and I have seen the way he is with her and I find it hard to believe he said that to your seven year old maybe he was talking to someone else that was around you.

Most of what's posted is nothing more than a persons opinion. Donny has his fans ans also his enemies. Some people are having a very difficult time dealing with this whole king and new king deal. I understand it, just don't see why it's got to be that way. I have also seen many good sides to that Donny has. The only bad I've ever seen is he isn't Mr. happy go lucky when he has a bad night. But he's not the only one like that either. I've seen the old king himself be extremely quite when he has a bad night.

Anyone who calls Schatz the "new king" is showing their lack of knowledge of this sport. 2 good years does not constitute being called a "king". Give it another 20 years and see how his numbers rack up against names like Steve Kinser, Sammy Swindell, Doug Wolfgang and Mark Kinser. Stop being a dumbass!

Been around for awhile. sorry to tell you this, but if Donny keeps going, it won't take him long to surpass to of those guys you mention. If he does go another 20 years, he will be #2 on the alltime win list. As I posted earlier, no one will ever have more than Kinser. And as I've posted earlier, Kinser is the best of all time!!! Read back a little bit also.

ok,i will take the pressue off poor ole wingnut15 and award Donny the "ultimate fan favorite" award now so that he can have a medal to pin on his chest for all the booing that is associated with a PR trainwreck!

Johnny Gibson - "the 15 crew has just completed an engine change and is pushing off for heat in the engine on the backstretch...and we are ready to call the A main line up for the 40 lap Williams Grove National Open"...was that perfect timing or what?

So, if in YOUR words, Donny will never surpass the king. Then how in the hell can he BE the king???

Another thing to remember. The names I mentioned, achieved their success against a much tougher group of drivers, running an even tougher schedule.

To put it lightly......YOU'RE AN IDIOT!!!

Ask your hero how it came to be that he rejoined the WoO; what happened to his partners (Lamberti and Stockbridge) on the eve of announcing the NST's title sponsor; how he has honored the memory of Fred Brownfield...

Pull your head out fool!

Was Kinser a talented driver, sure. On occasion he still shows brilliance HOWEVER he's had his reign, and whether it's Schatz; Dollansky; Meyers... there most definitely will be a new King.

So please, regale us all with stories from the 70s, 80s and 90s; t-shirt signings; autographs... I know the real Steve Kinser and as a human, he's proved to be the proverbial turd in the punchbowl of life.

The preceding diatribe contains constitutionally protected opinion, and in no way reflects the opinions of AH; his sponsors...

PS - Steve Kinser and Richard Petty deserve each other...

Let's talk about Pittman's wife some more.

The hopeless desire to outrun Bud Grimm's Fords is
why central PA became the toughest place to race on
the planet. Even the KING couldn't run with Casey
Luna's Fords on a tacky track. It's a crying shame
that current car owners failed to notice.

Here's a thought: Who does Donny Schatz drive for? Who owns the racetrack? How big of a race is this? Is it fair to jump on Donny for getting extra laps?

I don't know anything about what happened, I wasn't there. But maybe we are pointing fingers in the wrong direction.

Working woody called in to the officials mentioning that a push truck was out on the track and in the line Donny was driving. Supposedly the lap was called off immediately and hence run a second qualifying lap when the rest are done? If I have that right. Let's not forget what happened to A talented racer a few years back by the name of Sammy when a push truck was on the track. I know some will say they didn't see anything, but seems to me proof of the incident is there and dealt with according to the rules. But It's Donny and not some peoples kind of driver and don't want to acknowledge what he's done and is doing again this year.
