i believe ( and make no doubt that i have been wrong at times) that most promotors reserve a promotors option that they can institute. just how each promotor chooses to implement it i would not know.

Ya I am sure they do..Agan that is a promoters option not a series sponser option ,and i have been going to sprint car races for a long time and can't recall it being used recently here in Calif at the local level.(that is probley beacuse it just causes problems and it will never make everyone happy)...And if it was used i would think it would be used on big named drivers that fans would want to see like a TK or a BK. They have that rule for selfish reasons..to make there show better so fans leave happy and return to there track...not to be nice and help out a guy who is having a bad night and is looking to please his sponsers..Even Qcean gives Rick his option to thank him for sponsering the series and hope he is happy and does it again next year...

have you read section 2 item 21 in the ocean speedway race procedures and track rules? it can justify john's comment about his 13 year old son. lol.

Not sure where u are going with that comment but what ever....I am done with this topic..i think i got my point across that u took advantage of a rule and used it in a way that it was not intened for and i am glad to see it won't happen again as they changed the rule.....good luck in 2 weeks hope you do better so u won't disapoint your sponsers

i was just backing up my statement about most promotors having options. i too am glad that this has been addressed. you are entitled to your opinion. by the way, we race this friday at ocean and i hope we don't disapoint our sponsors, of which wright one is among. and wouldn't you know it, we are fresh out of provisionals!

I'm looking forward to full grandstands out there tomorrow night The fans who have sat out there in some real cold weather so far is year deserve a break. Hopefully it will be cheek to cheek on he pine and JP will sell out of beer. The 360 racing has been great.......support this place!

i haven't seen this much controvercy in this area since the fans were trying to knife each other in the stands at the fairgrounds speedway! i gotta go dig out an old sargent shirt!
