man I got a few. Of traveling drivers I;d have to say Jason Johnson first. - I like Shane Stewart and Wayne Johnson a lot too. as well Meyers and Pittman - I like most of em in fact. I think it is easier to point out the ones someone doesn't like than it is the one someone does. I like most all drivers until I get a different impression. As a kid - my favorite was always Wayne Johnson - when he raced here locally.
On more a local scene here in Oklahoma - I;d have to say Cody Whitworth, Jamie Passmore, Mike Peters and Danny Jennings. But there are a lot I like around here - and a few I dont too. I'm probably favorable to a vast majority of drivers. there are not many I just cant stand. only a couple here. Nationally - I;m gettin to where I can't stand Schatz. arrogant ass.
outisde of Oklahoma - Jason Johnson without a doubt. inside oklahoma - probably the 4 I mentioned above.

Sprint50 - Now there's a guy that saw racing at the old Atomic (now K-C) Speedway. I would think Dean Knittel would be thrown in on the retired list with some 120 main event wins there. This is an interesting thread for sure.

Hmmm, current favorite driver: Donny Schatz, after seeing him year after year whip the opposition (read that as Joey Saldana almost all the time) at Parramatta speedway I rate him as the best I've seen
My alltime favorite driver is Jack Hewitt, the first driver I ever saw in Australia to take the high line and win races back in his late model days (1977 to the early 80's), the days when every aussie driver hugged the pole and tried to force their way underneath as the only way to pass.

Keith Kauffman since I started going in 1980. Behind him Stevie Smith and Jeff Shepard. Others I enjoyed watching when they were still active are Steve Smith Sr., Lynn Paxton, and Doug Wolfgang. Wish I could say I saw Opperman, but unfortunately wasn't born earlier enough. LOL!!
Have always enjoyed watching the 'Wild Child' Jac Haudenschild.

Lance DeWease, Brian Monteith
I pretty much like them all except Rahmer. Not much of a Kinser fan either. Wolfgang was one of my all time favorites.

With the exception of Wolfgang, you root for guys that don't win much? I respect that! Cool.
