Just took a peek at John Padjen Motorsports site and they now show TK as 21st and a dq for the race.
There have been several who indicated a desire for some type of disciplinary action against Tim.
I have no idea who runs the GSC series. In the old NARC days I believe they had a board of directors who would have dealt with this type of issue.
Take a peek periodically at the Padjen site and if anything were to happen I am sure the info will be posted there.

watch the video, I dont think there is cause for too much alarm here people. Terry McCarl has done worse in the pits no less (hannigan) and so have countless other racers. Sometimes things get blown WAY out of proportion.
I dont think I would done the same as Tim but I certainly would have done something to that guy if it was me being run into a fence. here is the clip, you decide http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1EHdR1gkYZU
Cheers!

THAT'S IT!! What the hell is everyone screaming about. That's not even close to what some describe on here. Geez you would of thought he drove the car at about 100 mph into the side of him from what some of these posters put on here. Forsberg took him out IMO. That's not even as bad as the Sides and Swindell stuff from earlier this year. Give me a break if you think this was some huge incident. Like i said earlier it's time to move on.

Thanks for the video, Mike. Pretty obvious Andy deliberately ran TK off the track and into the wall, IMO. Doesn't in any way justify TK's subsequent stupid actions, but a very 'no class' move on Andy's part in the race.

I don't understand how you can say Forsberg had "no class", if you watch the video you can see that they hit back tires, theres no way Andy did that intentionally. TK acted like a little child that didn't get his way. For someone that is a vectren and has been around the sport for a long time he should have known that the hell he was doing. It was totally uncalled for. Lets go act like we are 5 years old and have a a little hissy fit that could actually hurt someone. If he wasnt a Kaeding im sure whatever his punishment is, it would be alot worse. I grant you that alot of other drivers have done the same thing and have gotten away with it, but where are you going to draw the line?
You know the next time someone beats me in a sport i'm going to go get in my car and hit them with it.

I officially alter my view. I agree fully with you HC. and I think forsberg did a little more than just block him there - he went right up and into him once he saw he was there. i dont think TK shoulda tagged him afterwards - but I honestly understand him being pissed.

After watching the video i tend to agree with you that things did get blown way out of proportion.. The way people were talking on this message board it sounded like Tim destroyed Andy's car while it appears it was Tim's ride that got got the worst of it, i don't condone what Tim did but the way it sounded on this board was that Tim met Andy at racing speed while going the wrong way which does not appear to be the case in the video. As for the racing deal it looks like Andy closed the door when he seen TK's front wheel along side his cockpit and it certainly was to late for Tim to lift, in other words Andy pinched him into the wall.. Hell i have seen alot worse retaliation than what happened there after that race, is everyone to young to remember the racing at S.J. Speedway in the 70's & 80's?

Uh, how about a little discretion here...according to the video, TK ran the high side all night. Andy was protecting his spot. They bumped.... and that should have been the end of the incident. That's when discretion would have been appropriate.......
TK chose to chase down Andy by driving the wrong way on the race track - which, in my mind was the wrong choice to make. While the video makes it appear that the last contact was not that severe, you just don't know how much damage was done to Andy's car. Rear end, bird cage, wheel, driveline? Which can cost as much as $2.5K to $3K.
As far as intent, or comparison to anything else done by McCarl, or others, intent really shouldn't matter. IT WAS THE WRONG THING TO DO AND DELIBERATELY DAMAGED ANDY's CAR, after the race was over!
Sorry, but I cannot excuse TK's actions here.
Chuck.....

TK way over-reacted. It's one thing to bump wheels afterward but to go drill someone like that isn't right. The way he went and hunted down Andy was wrong.

You dont protect your spot once the guy is next to you you do it before he gets there,, if you wait till he is there it goes from protecting your spot to crashing the other driver

Well, after seeing the video, I have to say that my original feelings about the contact were correct, it was a racing deal. Forsberg was leading, has first choice to the line he wants to take, took the higher line and they banged wheels. As far as the post-race incident goes, Yes it has been portrayed as being more severe than it was, but the fact remains that he did it and it was uncalled for.
As has been stated several times, very little, if anything, will come of it because he is a Keading. He has gotten away with stuff in the past and he will again in the future.

It doesn't appear Forsberg "pinched him into the wall". Plenty of room left. He kept his line through the middle and didn't seem to make any directional change toward Kaeding.

Tim and Brent are some of the dirtiest drivers around. They call it the Kaeding move when you take someone out like that.

Still trying to see what Forsberg did wrong, he took the same line in all four corners for the last two laps...
Still see everyone is bringing up the TMAC issue. Everytime it's brought up, he sells more shirts, so good for him. What they don't mention is the reduction in penalties he had from the WoO after appeal, and the people in the pits and track employees that went to bat for him. Easy to forget for people in NW Ohio and PA who love to spout nonsense about it, but were nowhere near the track...

Gotta agree with you on this one Bill W. McCarl isn't the issue here. I will say this in TK's defense he wasn't going that fast ( I thought he was full tilt when he hit him from earlier reports) but that doesn't excuse the incident. Silver Dollar promoters got to be laughing all the way to the bank. You can't buy publicity like this.

DIRTY?? Sounds more like jealousy to me. That's funny because i've never heard that term used before and i have been going to race's for a very long-time and if it has it definitely hasn't been used around my friends and i. IMO your just trying to stir-up more crap then need's be.

What a stupid move, I hope Tim Kaeding gets banned from any track that Padjen promotes

OK SO U GOT GUYS PAYING LOTS OF MONEY TO RACE., THESE GUYS ARE FIRED UP WITH A PASSION FOR RACING THAT A LOT OF US WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND, SO IT IS NO SURPRISE WHEN SOMEONE GETS PISSED AND DOES SOMETHING CRAZY OR STUPID. SO GET OVER IT, THERE IS NO WAY THEY WILL BAN HIM OR ANYONE ELSE WHO DOES THE SAME THING, UNLESS IT BECOMES A HABIT. HE LOVES TO RACE AND HIS INTENSITY IS EXACTLY WHAT PUTS BUTTS IN THE SEATS AND MONEY IN EVERYONES POCKETS. SO SIT DOWN AND ENJOY IT OR MAYBE GO TO A SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT INSTEAD IF U DONT LIKE FULL CONTACT. BAN HIM NO WAY, I SAY LINE EM UP NEXT TO EACHOTHER EVERY WEEK AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS.
GO ALLARD!!!!!!
