That is it. So far we have no duplicate numbers picked so it should be a good chance to take half of it home! If I happen to be the winner I am going to use my portion to buy t-shirts from the various teams out there that are lower dollar teams so again most of the money goes to the teams! Common guys this is a win win for everyone!

and we in Socal can't collect a lousy $200 for a 50/50 ... Rob, at the end of last season, I collected something in the area of $6,000 in two weeks time, I collected every penny promised (except for $100 from one of the posters on this board that I listed as a contributor anyway.) I have found the fans in So. Cal to be very generous year after year, same goes with year end banquets, there is not enough room to list the names that have donated thousands of dollars and most often (and sometimes always) ask that their name not even be mentioned, (Wags & Ralphie know what I'm talking about) so, in reference to a lousy $200 bucks, I don't think it has anything to do with So.Cal, it may just be that times are tuff right now, maybe it's the price of food or gas, maybe not everyone reads this message board, but for sure, along with the best racing in the country, we have the best fans right here in our backyard (you included) and feel that needs to be pointed out.

Since we got rained out if you want to enter send me an email and put 50/50 in the subject heading. I will then give you my address and any entries I receive prior to Friday will count.

Here are the official entries for the 50/50. I will put the range of cars that you will win with. The lower number is your actual pick but you can win by having the car count go as high as the highest number because everyone else was over.
Turn4Rob 39-42
Will Perkins 43
Don Flanders 44-47
Dan Tendrick 44-47
Joe Godoy 48-57
Mike Tanaka 58+
Don sent me a check for $100 so I am going to add the $80 extra of that to the money going to the team that wins their share of the pot. I have never met the man but that is awesome of him to do and I hope everyone appreciates what he is doing! He alone added $90 to this award!
This 50/50 has raised a total of $140 for the car owner that tows the furthest and is present at the track on Saturday. I will try to have Jack and/or Cary make an announcement at the drivers meeting so all of the 360 car owners can provide me or them with their address so we can determine who made the longest tow. If there are less then 39 cars we will draw out of a hat for the winner of the people that donated to this event.
Thanks everyone and especially Don for kicking in the extra cash!
Sincerely,
Joe Godoy

So everyone knows I will attempt to either use Mapquest or Yahoo Maps to determine the distance if it isnt obviously clear. I would also like to point out that we are obviously going to be having to use the honor system here with the car owners as there are no titles so please no last minute car ownership changes! I figured if I didnt say something up front we might get a bunch of crap from some here.

On behalf of Shon Deskins Racing,
I would like to thank everyone who participated in the Victorville car count 50/50. Your commitment to helping race teams in our great sport is sincerely appreciated.
In these times of 5 plus dollar diesel fuel every bit helps. Thanks for you efforts.
