You're a Yankee fan? I had no idea! You have redeemable qualities after all.
(P.S. It was nice seeing you again this weekend!)

I was suprized to see you unarmed too boot!
I hope you enjoyed the races.
As far as Baseball goes, I really don't follow it much, but Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris were my favorites.
You are so young, you may not have heard of those guys, but they were darn good, as were the Yankees back then.

Roger Maris was a NoDak, so of course I know who he is! My grandpa played in the Yankee farm system, so I grew up in the pinstripes. My dad has the YES network on his satellite and watches every game. The last time I saw them was in Milwaukee in 2005. My brother caught a foul off of Jorge Posada that almost bounced off of my head. The Brewers won the game that night - I guess I should have thrown beer cans and toilet paper on the field in protest.
(See how I brought this thread right back around to the original topic? I am awesome.)

I have remorse for my reaction here. Like you I am tired of the silly offensive things that go on here. I'm afraid I may not have helped.

NASCRAP has cameras all over the place...turning them on the crowd during the col down lap would be the smart way to find the bastards...but then again...who said NASCRAP was smart?

I'm a native of North Alabama and we are just as disgusted as everyone else at what seems to be a new tradition in NASCAR, "the tossing of the cans". The first few times, we just blew it off as there are a lot of fans coming in from out of state. Now there seems to be a pattern being repeated at Talladega, so maybe it is us. Personally, I can't comprehend spending those kinds of ticket prices, only to be wasted because you can't remember a thing. We've been fortunate to get comp tickets (the best kind), but we wonder if even those are worth the effort.
On another note, my wife was in an autograph session with Dale Jr. on Sunday morning. What a jerk. They laid down a bunch of ground rules before he came in the room. When he did show up, no talking, just sign and move on. Acted pissed off to be there. So much for "fan appreciation". Remember that the next time you walk through the pits of a WoO event.
One last thing, Robin Miller's rant on Tony Stewart's NASCAR lobotomy was a hoot. Dead on.
Sorry to ramble. Now back to real race cars......

Anyone paying to see a NASCAR race these days is a simp. Anyone paying to see a NASCAR plate race is an even bigger simp.
The hopeless desire to outrun Bud Grimm's Fords is
why central PA became the toughest place to race on
the planet. Even the KING couldn't run with Casey
Luna's Fords on a tacky track. It's a crying shame
that current car owners failed to notice.

By the way, this SIMP would gladly pay for tickets to the Brickyard. Seriously, I THINK WE SHOULD DUMP ALL THIS DIVISION OF THE HOUSE, DEMAND THAT ALL CIRCLE TRACK DRIVERS COMPETE IN DIRT SILVER CROWN CARS FROM NOW ON AND THEN WE CAN SEE WHO THE REAL KING EXCALIBER IS. I'm tired of streetfighting, I'm ready to see the art of battle amongst Giants.

Those 14 idiots will get what's coming to them when their names have been released to the public, if it hasn't happened already!!! Not too fricken bright to be drunk on Budweiser, launch a full beer at a NASCAR champion, after they were warned prior to the race, have the beer land 50 feet short of the track and HIT A CHILD!!! Trust me, people know how to use the internet to find those 14 names, they deserve everything they get!!!!!!!!!!! TOTALLY JUSTIFIABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!

What ticks me off is all those gallons of beer that were wasted.
