My dad's car was clay twister. Luna's Ford was the penalty box for about 8 months. It stomped everybody but Kinser for the next 8 years.
The hopeless desire to outrun Bud Grimm's Fords is
why central PA became the toughest place to race on
the planet. Even the KING couldn't run with Casey
Luna's Fords on a tacky track. It's a crying shame
that current car owners failed to notice.

The car in my icon was named Little 26. There was the "singin 5" from Lawton, my uncles car the 38 special, and nobody has mentioned the Offy Killer. The Don Davis Red Rooster, And let's not forget the $#*!box that Opperman drove. By the way was'nt the Used food special also known as Old Calhoun?

Diz Wilson ran Ol' Yeller #71 with Offys back in the fifties with the likes of Buzz Barton, LeRoy Nuemeyer etc. He also had a stabel mate #70 Orange Crate. Can you guess the colors?

Another reason for those colors was that he could go over to the schoolbus factory there in Mitchell and get the paint for free.
