Did I say anything about this past weekend? I'm talking about the last 4 to 5 years in general,as I have worked on a couple of different cars that have been on the recieving end of his miscalculations more than a couple of times.I guess if thats the way he wants to race then he should learn not to bitch about it when the favor is returned,I've seen him with my own two eyes go and confront other drivers when he felt like he was wronged but seems to forget rather quickly how he has done others. I guess what I'm saying is,if you can't take it being done to you then you shouldn't be dishing it out. That is something that we are trying to teach Garrett, "don't let your emotions get to you on the race track because that is not the place to be seeking revenge". In my opinion Danny needs to learn that as well.

besides that i hear he has been runnin nitro too !

Terry, have you thought it might be the drivers you have chosen to work for in the past that make you spend thousands of dollars and countless hours? Garrett showed a classic example of what to do when you get a slider, he jumped out of the gas, grabbed the brake and tried to drive back under. Now rewind to oval nationals 2006, Saturday night, B-main. (I'm sure you vividly remember this, since you rambled on in this message board for nearly a year about it.) Video is still posted, 2006, page 6, Oval Nationals, Saturday night preliminary races. J-Rod got slid in turns 1 and 2 stayed in the throttle and dumped it hard. Now I don't want to hear Danny hit him, because the video clearly shows J-Rods L.F. tire climbing over Danny's R.R. tire. Sure the whole thing could have been avoided by Danny finishing 2nd, but what driver is happy with second. Just like the legendary racer Ricky Bobby said: "If you're not first, your last."

Now I know you have other races in mind, but I mention this one since it's the same situation as this last weekend. Garrett did what is right, J-Rod did not. I don't know how that's Danny fault, resulting in you spending thousands of dollars and countless hours repairing cars.

What a great role model. I do sincerely agree with you, the race track is not the place to get even, get revenge, or get emotional about another driver. Is it right for the crew to get involved? I clearly remember you and Darren's Dad walking by the Kittle hauler and throwing stuff at Mr. Kittle while he was standing atop the trailer. You're the one telling Garrett not to let emotions get involved in driving? We all know that was a rotten deal between Darren and Danny, Danny admitted being wrong and was trying to apologize.

P.S. Refer to Ronnie G's statement on the Sheridan vs. Hansen discussion.

Ok Terry, I have said what I wanted to say. I will let you have the last word since that is what it seems like you need to do to be right.

Danny did not need to apologise. He made that pass honestly. He showed Garrett the front end at least once before he passed him. Garrett knew he was there and coming. If Garrett did not want a slide job put on him he should have taken away the low line and made Danny horsepower him on the cushion. Either way Garrett was toast as Danny had the best car on Saturday. All we ever hear from that team is whining. If you want to win get better at what you do. This isnt Nascar and we dont need another Kyle Busch here.

Jimbo,

I don't disagree with what you said except one thing, after the Hagen incident I never threw anything at Mr.Kittle all I did was yell at you guys calling your driver an idiot as I rode by on the quad, yes Darrens father threw a water bottle at Mr.Kittle but how do I have any control of what he did. When Danny came to our trailer looking for Darren all I said to him was that I didn't know where Darren was and that I didn't think that him being at our trailer was good place for him to be at that particular momment and then asked him what he was thinking in trying to pass both Spencer and Darren in one slide job when both of them were pretty fast up on the cushion, thats when Darrens father went off on him and he turned and walked away, there again what control do I have over what Darrens father said to Danny.

As far as Sat.goes the only thing I said was "Danny didn't need to run into Garrett" and after watching the video I admit I was wrong and Danny never ran into him and I'm man enough to admit that.I don't think it's right you throwing in my face about crews getting involved as I have seen your crew get involved in situations as well and I think that just has to do with us all being passionate about what we do.I hold no ill will against you or anyone else on your team and I've known Randy for 7 or8 years in fact we worked together on a car years back and I realize that just like me you aren't the ones driving the car.We are all competitive type people and in the heat of the momment say and do things that maybe we shouldn't.I'd be happy to discuss this futher with you on the 24th if you'd like to.

Terry

"If you want to win get better at what you do" How many races have you won as a crew chief smart guy? When you have won a couple of championships and mechanic of the year twice and close to a 100 main event wins in your career as a crew chief then I might care what you think.

How many of those raves have you guys won with Priestly latley? At least the last 4-5 Kittle/Sheridan wins you just dig up some old $hit and sing a very old song. At least you guys are on the right track since switching to Garrett's Maxim and running up front. By my count since Garrett got faster he has killed more cars than Danny has! !

P.S. I know a couple weeks back the steering broke and there was nothing to do but, that alone almost wiped out three cars right there. Showtime and Hanson both came from a long way back just to finidh a long way back

At least at one time I got to sing that song and I'm not hiding behind a screen name that nobody knows who I really am! Besides that I've spent the last 15yrs. trying to help develop younger drivers and try to help them become winners more than I've focused on my own accomplishments,so excuse me for that!

Oh and by the way you going on about Tony's bad slide jobs,I watched the video again and his deals didn't look any different than ones your boy has pulled in the past,so whats the deal? don't you like Tony and when Tony does them they're bad sliders and when one your favorite drivers does the same thing it's called racing!
