Top, I made it to Danville when Gary sent a text saying it was canceled. Moments later, calendarguy called and quoted Peter Murphy from Brian's Tulare thread..."Turn around mate."

I got as far as Vacaville when I got a call from Florie that the race had been cancelled. At least I wasn't headin' up the mountain, yet.

Happy Birthday CW! Woulda been great to see you at P'Ville but mother nature had other ideas. Dean, myself and the rest of the Hawaii gang had just headed east on 50 when we saw a couple of trailers coming west so called the track and listened to their recorded cancellation announcement. What a bummer! Oh well, there's still next weekend's Silver Cup but not sure if we'll get to see you there. Take care and hope you managed to somehow have a happy one anyway!

We'll have to celebrate your birthday next weekend at Placerville. I was worried that you drove all the way to Placerville and had to turn around. See everyone on Saturday and I plan on bringing the new member of our family to hang out before the races 
Winged sprintcars = the fastest and most exciting
racecars on dirt!
