Wayne Johnson is no stranger to the upper midwest sprint car fans as he has raced at Knoxville, Husets and Jackson the past few years, and won features at all (3) of those race tracks.

Johnson won the 2000 ASCS National title and will go for his 2nd ASCS National Crown aboard Mike and Tim Hammers yellow #94 sprinter from the state of Mississippi.

Johnson will join the likes of Gary Wright, Jason Johnson, Travis Rilat, Sean McClelland, Darren Stewart, Nick Smith, (14) year old Trey Robb and a host of other ASCS National Championship contenders along with a few "new" faces, Gary Lee Maier, Larry Neighbors as well as the very competitive Northern Plains and Midwest regional drivers as the ASCoT will make it's maiden voyage thru the upper midwest in June 2007.

Tracks included are Crawford County Speedway, Dension, IA.(Saturday June 16th), I-90 Speedway in Hartford, SD.(Tuesday June 19th), North Central Speedway in Brainerd, MN.(Wednesday June 20th), and Dakota State Fair Speedway in Huron, SD.(Saturday June 23rd), with a possible stop in North Dakota as well.

For more info go to www.ascsracing.com

The ASCS Northern Plains and Midwest regions will open their 2007 race seasons together at I-80 Nebraska Raceway Park Speedway with a double header scheduled for Friday April 13th and Saturday April 14th. Last season's opener at I-80 saw a record (69) entries and this year should be just as exciting as the NCRA sprinters will join the fun on Saturday night.

Only (43) days and counting...CZ
