Davey Heskin won his first 410 Main Event win at Knoxville Raceway Saturday night, leading from start to finish and holding off
second place Billy Alley, third place Danny Lasoski, and fourth place Brooke
Tatnell in an exciting, crowd pleasing race. P.S. Does anyone get the pun?

Congratulations. The kid drove a great race. It even looked like he was pulling away from the "big guns".
Anyone know what happened to kearney? I saw them take him away in the ambulance after the race. I hope he's OK.

It would seem, up to this time, nobody has found your "crowd pleasing" pun
to be too amusing there darbo!
Calling an illegal immigrant an "undocumented worker"
is like calling a drug dealer an "unlicensed
pharmacist!"

It's great seeing new faces winning races...
Cole Duncan, the 16 year old son of old Ohio racer Rodney Duncan, beat Danny Smith Friday night @ Skyline Speedway nears Athens, Ohio...
Congrats to Both!!!

I hate most Donny Schatz fans...i.e. all the ones who
started rooting for him within the last 3 years...
i.e. 90% of them.

I heard when Kearney came in under a red flag that he was complaining of chest pains and shortness of breath so they took him in. After the race one of his crew guys said they believe he was just dehydrated and would be fine. Thank goodness!

He has looked fast and damn good most nights all year. There were a few nay sayers after he made the dash at the Outlaw show earlier this year. I predicted on a thread he was no flash in the pan and was going to win a Knoxville feature sometime. They are quite the crew with their 2 cars in one small trailer pulled by a old dually pick up. He will win more as that was no upset last night. We were walking by his rig after the pits after the race and he and Cappy were hugging like grandpa and grandson. That was nice.

Davey definitely was fast last night. Just like azteca said, it was only a matter of time before he won an A feature. Does he run Garret Engines?

Dollansky has mentored Davey somewhat and from what I understand, Davey even traveled with him a little bit to learn from him. He also got a couple motors from him, hence, the pun in my original post, "a crowd pleasing victory".

just a note to keep everybody on the same page. Butch Maxwell, Davey's and Danny's grandpa who owns and works on both cars has been in racing for many years. Back in the late 70's and early 80's Bill dollansky (Craigs Dad) drove for Butch competing in the MSA sprint organization and a few trips to knoxville and at least one to eldora. During this time DJ and Craig and all the other drivers kids became friends. When it was decided to put Davey in a 410 Butch called Craig. During the conversations Craig mentioned he could use another crew man for speedweeks in FL that spring and what proved to be a monumental education on car maintenance and preparation, Davey was fotunate to go. He developed relationships with Craig, Rob Hart and Craig Stevens who were the crew at the time. Relationships that continue today. Deluxe Crates owned by Dan and Lynn who owned the blue 54 car back in the MSA days have come on board this year to help with the task of competing at knoxville every week. Charlie Garrett has been very patient in guiding the team with their first 410 exprience. The Gruebel family who is there to do anything and everything to keep two cars on the track. The quietest guy on the team Paul Jenkins who drives us to and from the races 600+ miles every weekend. The team wants to thank everyone for their support. Every week we here of another person who has been keeping track of him and Danny on the internet. See you at the races!
