Not many household names there even with the big "unification". Till that changes they are going to have trouble getting people to care about Indycar racing.

First of all, It was a joke between Duane and I. Second, Patrick NEVER drove a Midget or Sprint, so your ignorant rant is mute. Prove me wrong on her career! Yeah, didn't think so. Third, you have NO idea how much I spend on racing (or Duane for that matter) but I'm at a track somewhere EVERY weekend, shooting photos, giving back and supporting the sport that I love. How about you? You're a typical Danica fan, just a whiny, snivelin' HOLE...........P.S. Your ignorance really shows in your post FYI. ( That means "For your information" ) In America, we start sentences with capital letters (or upper case for the knowledgeable), and we also capitalize a persons first and last names. Also the word America or American is ALWAYS capitalized in this Country. Ever heard of a period or an apostrophe? Ever use spell check? You need to! Go back to second grade and learn proper grammar.........Bite that............

Boy I bet a Honda Dallara is going to win. Wal Mart might as well market an Indy car so we can all have the same exact thing. How pathetic! This makes the current 410 pit areas look like the old days as far as variety of equipment goes.
The hopeless desire to outrun Bud Grimm's Fords is
why central PA became the toughest place to race on
the planet. Even the KING couldn't run with Casey
Luna's Fords on a tacky track. It's a crying shame
that current car owners failed to notice.

Davey Hamilton is a racers racer and so's his dad. The man had to learn how to walk before he could race again. He was also part of saving Terre Haute from closing. He's a outstanding example of the spirit and grit of some men in our sport and anyone who is looking for a example of what it's realy all about need look no farther than Davey and his dad Ken. http://www.indy500.com/videos/watch/791-Davey_Hamilton_interview

AMEN Ken! I've followed both Ken and Davey through their careers, and they are both fine examples of a racers racer. Davey's the main reason I'm so interested in today's 500. After all that he's been through the last few years, It's quite an awesome feat for him to be back in the seat of an Indycar. 20 years ago, I watched him obliterate the track record at the track I grew up at, the now defunct Champion Speedway (formally T-Car and Silver State) where he sat an unbelievable time of 10.93 seconds around the 1/4 mile paved bullring, driving the famed Trigueiro Bros. #1 Supermodified. I remember saying then that this young kid from Boise Idaho was damn good, and was a chip off the old block! Ken brought the legendary "Pink Lady" there numerous times, racing with both the SMRA Supers, and the USAC Sprints. He also won the "Copper World Classic" with her twice. (as I'm sure you know) That car was a fine example of what a Sprint car should look like, and was a beatiful machine, thanks to Grant King. So today it's all about GO DAVEY!!! Troy White

Well, it would appear that your second grade grammar and spell check still couldn't figure out the difference between "mute" and "moot", huh? Also, while you are correct regarding the capitalization of proper names, that does not apply to "sprints" and "midgets", which are actually nouns. On edit: I missed this the first time, but "persons name" is a possesive, and needs an apostrophe.

And to continue the Pot Calling the Kettle Black lesson:
"their careers" is a possesive, so an apostrophe should be used.
"It's" is in the middle of a sentence, so it should not be capitalized.
"sat an unbelievable time" doesn't make any sense. Did you mean "set"? How embarrassing that your spell checker didn't catch this!!!
"(as I'm sure you know)" is the start of a sentence, so it should be capitalized (you know, like we do here in America, as you should have learned in second grade).

Well said, there are some who can find fault with anything because it doesn't happen the way they think it should, looking through their rose colored glasses. An earlier post mentions about Indy Car never will develop a following because of the driver makeup. They must spend all their time in their kitchen and no realize there's a big world out there that can be enjoyed if you leave your kitchen. They were born with blinders on and will never enjoy it. Got a stop and send this off as Jim Nabors is now singing Back Home in Indiana. God Bless and Shine On.

Wow, issues over trivial topics. What a life we must lead. Please don't have a stroke over such trivial topics and discussions. Would hate for your lawyers to get involved as that seems to be some of you alls mentality.

My my, you sure are one ignorant "race fan" aren't you? Patric driving for Bob East was a dead give away but the name calling fit right in with some of the post's on this forum.
Ok hot shot American racer, maybe you should just back up and take the time to know what the hell you are talking about before you get on your high horse and start the name calling. Once you have the ability to do that you can sling all the crap you want, but after rereading your post again it looks like we won't have to worry about that in the near future.
