Just read on IBRACN that Steve Kent has retired from Sprint Car racing. It also states that Roger Crocket is rumored to be his replacement.

I remember watching Steve Kent at the Lemoore Jet Bowl in 3/4 single cylinder midgets in the early 80's. If I'm not mistaken, wasn't he the National Champion one year? Jumped right into sprint cars, didn't go to midgets first. Very smart driver. Didn't tear much stuff up either.
