Time to pick a winner for the 2008 edition folks. Let's hear your pick. That's right pick, not picks. You can only pick one driver as your best guess to become the winner. Will Reinke win his third in a row? Will Tatnell win the race that he's been so close to in the past? Will JRJ take the checkers in honor of the great one? Does Winters stay undefeated in 2008 IRA competition at CLS?

My pick.....Brooke Tatnell

Good luck to all competitors. Look forward to another great night.

I'll say someone within the first 2 rows, but yeah Tatnell in the #5 Forbrook car or the 23W "Wide Open" Winters.

Question is, How many Knoxville cars will show with ASCS Midwest running in Nebraska.

I say 7 Knoxville cars will show up. Mark Dobmeier, Davey Heskin, Kaley Gharst, Ricky Logan, Bronson Maeschen, Lynton Jeffrey & Kaylene VerVille.

Unlike some of the past JR Memorials nobody tore up any equipment last night in Soup Town. The winner up there was the weather. There were 25 Sprints in the pits last night and usually a few more IRA teams that couldn't get off work on Fridays will show up at CLS. I'm guessing in the 35 to 40 car range but my enjoyment won't depend on how many cars there are.

When it comes to the JR Memorial or any big event at CLS the racing is only part of the fun. The other half of the fun is in the pits and campground after the races. If you don't spend the night you're missing a big part of what makes these races so special.
