Did the rain miss Eldora? If it's still on, how do we get there from Indy, and how long does it take?

Hey Dick I'd say Eldora is around 2 1/2 hours from Indy. Take I-70 east towards Richmond to exit 10 in Ohio then turn left on 127 to Greenville. As soon as you weed your way through Greenville (it's easy to get lost there, stop and ask for directions if needed) you'll need to get on 118 which goes directly to the track.

The rain (downpour) didn't miss Eldora but the radar looks like they haven't had anything since about noon-ish and it looks clear to the west. I'd guess they will try to get it in if at all possible.

cool maybe it will be hammer down right to the end

The hopeless desire to outrun Bud Grimm's Fords is
why central PA became the toughest place to race on
the planet. Even the KING couldn't run with Casey
Luna's Fords on a tacky track. It's a crying shame
that current car owners failed to notice.

Haha yeah his name is Dick I met him at L'Burg this week.

Looks like the Royal might have to be run on Sun. for the first time ever unless Stewart's guys decide to put on another late nighter when they didn't have two years ago.

We made it from the Speedway Motel in 2:15, including 2 brief stops. They ran one hot lap session, then it rained again. They spent 1:30 drying it out. Just as they were to push out another set of cars (7:30), it started raining again. It's probably still raining. We bailed at 9:00 and just got back to the motel.

Dick.
