Just talked to Lonny Parsons and the team will continue to race and is looking at options as to drivers.
I wonder if Tim Shaffer might be available and able to put something together for Ohio and Pennsylvania Speedweeks?

Tim has been slugging it out in the trenches with subpar Outlaw teams his whole career. If anyone deserves a shot at a quality ride before it is all said and done, he does.

I don't think the 11h or 83 cars were subpar outlaw teams when Tim was driving them. Hell I don't think the 83 is a subpar team now. I do however think that Tim is a very capable driver and will be competitive in anything he drives.

Now as far as finding a driver for the 6 car. I would vote for Tatnell to be in that car. To good of a driver to be sitting at home looking for rides to occupy his weekends.
I wouldn't say no to Kaeding, hell after last weekends incident he maybe looking for somewhere that will let him race.

I vote for Dusty Zomer - a young talented driver with alot of potential and many racing years ahead of him!

Parsons like many past WoO owners needs to realize that you can't put together a car like everyone else has then put an average wheel man in it with no decent wrench and expect to do much. It blows me away how many millionaires think an Ott or Kistler chevy right off the shelf, some type of 1989 Maxim replica, a fancy tow rig and a couple greasy underpaid nontalents are going to win more than a heat race or 2. Beat the dead horse and see what you get every time.
The hopeless desire to outrun Bud Grimm's Fords is
why central PA became the toughest place to race on
the planet. Even the KING couldn't run with Casey
Luna's Fords on a tacky track. It's a crying shame
that current car owners failed to notice.
