IBRACN.com is reporting Jason Johnson in a second KKR car on a limited basis this year including the Nationals and full time next year with backing from Remington Guns...pretty sweet deal for the cajun if it is true and works out...

Now maybe Tony Stewart will hire Wayne Johnson full-time with the WoO in 2009!

For some fun, ask Louisiana's Jason Johnson's new fans to name four car owners (Ok, maybe just car numbers) he drove prior to the '06 Knoxville Nationals...
Um....41?
Um....
The bandwagon is filling fast. No room for me on it, but certainly an excellent opportunity for a guy who has plenty of 410 experience beating some of the biggest in the game (his '03 Texas WoO sweep) and survived a summer camp in central PA taking some Outlaw Prelim monies at 'The Grove'.

How about: Jim and Sandy Kline in PA. Didn't he win an Outlaw race for Roth in 2005? He drove for Cox in the Full Throttle 50 car at Knoxville. He drove the Harrison car from Ohio. He's proven he can win in all the "hotbeds" of sprint car racing. IA, PA, OH, and all over down south in a 360. He's got a better resume than a lot of the guys who are outlaws right now.

Jason also spent time in Jack Elden's #22, probably during the season that runnin30 is talking about. I remember seeing highlights of Jason inthe elden car after an All Star race at Sharon when someone tipped off the officials that he had loose weight in his uniform.

Johnson drove for Jack Elden in 2001. I believe that incident happened at the old 1200 pound nats. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

wasn't there a Harrison guy he ran for? - and didn't he race for Webb as well? Man I know he raced in All-stars and in PA - but not sure on specifics. And of course - Disbury in Australia. And also another car down in Texas - that he ran in the ASCS Gulf South Region occasionally - I believe it was a #11....................
I wonder who Row will get for the #41 if J. Johnson vacates it? I guess really thats something for when that actually happens - ignore that.

I was in the pits at Volusia last week and I was wondering why Jason Johnson was hanging around Joeys car all week. The whole time I was thinking, man that would be awesome to see JJ in a KKR car.

Now don't forget that Jason spent a year (maybe a year and a half) being taught by the "King" himself.

There was a really good article that I read on his time with the King's team, probably in Sprint Car and Midget. Back when Kraig was running mini sprints in his younger days, Jason hopped in one at Tri City Speedway and ran away with the race.

I don't have anything against the guy pesonally (i've never talked to him), but i think hes a hell of a shoe in a sprint car. The only bad thing is what i've "heard about him". I've heard from quite a few ppl that hes one of those short-fused, hot-headed, non-pollite kind of guys that some car owners haven't been able to put up with? But, again thats what i've heard! NMO.
do it in the dirt

Jason Johnson and his entire crew is a class act, not to mention Jason being an incredibly talented driver. I suppose there will be a lot of posts from naysayers about this. I witnessed his victory at East Bay in Florida a couple of weeks ago. It was a work of art. He lapped many GOOD cars. Please don't slam the guy if you don't know him. I have seen and talked to Jason on several occasions and he has always been humble and gracious. Bobbi, Jason's wife, took the time to talk to our young kids and gave them candy and autographed cards. They both took the time to make sure that we, as fans, mattered to them. He definitely deserves the title of "King of the 360's".
GREAT CHOICE KASEY KAHNE! KASEY JUST GAINED SOME NEW FANS!
GO KASEY!
GO JASON!

I met him one time after his last race in the Kline 22 at Selinsgrove . He hung out awhile and offered a couple of us rides on his Segway (sp?) . He seemed like a good guy to me .
