Well after seeing the cograts to Bill, I thought Id chime in. I do wish him congratulations, but some times you have to cheat to win. Like when he brought up two cars to test with before the nationals. Maybe one was legal and maybe one wasn't.You tell me.

umm... pretty sure thats not considered cheating, its "TEST AND TUNE"... One was there Huset's car and the other was the Jackson car. They were having a tough time get the hang of the "Big Max" so they brought up the "Standard" Maxim to see if that one worked better. Bill has major talent, and a ton of laps at Jackson, no need for him to cheat. I think your looking in the wrong pit area for a cheater, get a life!
Great Job on 3 in a row Billy!
And also to Bruce Anderson on his 3rd straight!

Well Thanks for your Reply? I do need a life, sitting here responding to this rubbish. I do agree he has talent and so do alot of the others at Jackson, but what makes me( and others ) wonder is things like the infamious cylinder heads.?.!? Why wouldnt they work on them ?
Things look fishy around the Boles camp!
Have a great weekend.

Dear L vis
Your making some serious statements. In the future, I would recommend that you do some research, rather than relying on "shop talk". I'd like to point out, that Jackson doesn't have a specific head rule. That basically means, that almost any aluminum head is legal at the Jackson Speedway. When non ASCS heads are used or if your using ASCS heads that have been altered, your required to run a restrictor or you can use the ASCS type head gasket. I realize that Chuck Swenson was disqualified for illegal heads at Jackson, but keep in mind, the Nationals were an ASCS sanctioned event. Regular season events were governed by the Jackson rule book, the same rule book that helps dictate the track champion. You also referred to a set of heads that one of the race teams decided not to repair. That was a personal decision, that had nothing to do with the condition of the heads. More importantly, those heads have never been on the 05 car. Your throwing rocks at the wrong team! Your ignorance is embarrassing.

Didn't those cylinder heads in question come from the same builder that builds the 05 engines? Who's to say that a lot of those heads from that builder aren't legal or are? I know for a fact that this was a crappy situation. A good guy gets his first feature win, but sucks a valve and damages his heads in the process. I know that it's not up to the builder, nobody puts a gun to your head and makes you do anything. Unfortunately, he can't get them fixed because the manufacturer says they have been illegally ported. Kinda interesting. One thing is for sure, Jackson is definitely going to have to step-up the inspection procedures if they are going to continue with the same rules for next year. How do all of the other competitors feel who have been beating their heads against the wall trying to keep up with illegal parts for the past 1, 2, 3, or more years?

I'd bet that alot of the Jackson drivers would like to see Billy run with the Outlaws...
...or anywhere else.
Congratulations Billy!
