I have played it, even bought a copy. Not worth it... I found it terrible, the gameplay lacks any form of realism. If you have the orignal PS2 Outlaw game, stick with it, it's really good.

Have it. Bought it used at Game Stop. It only has like 4 real tracks and the others are all made up. I don't even think they paid anything to Have Knoxville's name in it cause the Knoxville is called Knoxville Speedway and not Raceway. Keeps it legal I think.
Not really that good but you have to buy a game with your home town name on it.

The PS2 one is better. Graphics fair at best. I think all the tracks are from the original game they just changed the name and the scenery outside the track, maybe tweaked the size and shape a little so they would not get in trouble from the track owners, at least thats the way it appears to me. Anybody know what happened to the game the WoO announced in early 2006? Suppose to made by Planetwide. Anything new coming out? We need an updated one.

Does anyone link up on PS2 and play? I am getting it soon, and want to get online and play. Can't really find a good price for PC.

2002's World of Outlaws/Sprint Cars, by Ratbag games, is much better than this pile of crap. Not even worth the $15 I paid for it. Played it for about an hour and I have not used it since. I would say don't waste you're money on this game.

I play on PC. The PC game has tons of add on tracks, paint skins, and add on cars such as midgets, 360's and wingless also. If anyone would want to set up a weekly night to run some hotlaps, I'd be glad to organize it ect.

If we can get a hand full of people interested I would give it a try. Will have to get the game out and loaded on my computer again. I never have done the internet thing so you will have to coach me through it.

The worst game I have ever played. Straight up sucks... I sold it for 50 cents in my garage sale. I would compare it to Britney's dance off.... Cause thats about how stupid it is...... Game play sucks. graphics suck. Doesnt even handle like a real race car. World of Outlaws 2002 is the game you need to find. If you can.........
Speed Kills... But you get there faster!!!

I agree with all the above posts. This game is lame. It is a shame it has "sprint car" on the title. No 2 player mode. Mostly bogus tracks, drivers etc... The Ratbag game blows it away hands down.

I still don't think Knoxville gave permission to use the name. Though if you see the adds and ofcourse the 20 car on it Tony and Eldora did. What a shame for Tony to put his track and car on it, but how did he know it wold flop? He is not a video game expert I would assume.

I'm thinking of starting a Wednesday night online server for Ratbag's Dirt Track Racing - Sprint Cars game (DTRSC) for some "HoseHeads Hotlaps". I can help with setting up the game and getting online if needed also. More than willing to share any and all of my setups. Just looking for some fun and friendly racing.
Respond to this post if interested guys!

WoO 2002 is the only game I ever play on my PS2 and I love it.
I have been wanting to play a good sprint car game on the PC, but not sure how to get started.
Can anybody help me out? Where do I get the game and controller, or do you download everything?
