Can someone who knows the points system tell me how losing 1 position in his scramble took Saldana from 3rd to 8th for the feature? Everyone else finished about where they started in the scramble. I thought he had several points of cushion going into the scramble too.

that current car owners failed to notice.

I didn't look up points before the scramble but I think Joey got 4 points for finishing 9th.

The winner got 20 points. 2nd 18, 3rd 16 etc. Plus 1 point (I think) for each position advanced.

Points must have been close up front. I was suprised that 20 points moved Terry from 10th to 6th.

Scramble finish - 1. McCarl (20 for win), 2. Tatnell (18pts.), 3. Kinser (16 pts + 1 passing point), 4. Shaffer (14 points+1 passing point), 5. Dollansky (12 points+2 passing points), 6. Johnson (10 points), 7. McMahan (8 points + 2 passing points), 8. Schatz (6 points + 2 passing points), 9. Saldana (4 points), 10. Smith (2 points)

Giving readjusted points of: Schatz (490+6+2=498), McMahan (483+8+2=493), Kinser (463+16+1=480), Dollansky (466+12+2=480), Shaffer (464+14+1=479), McCarl (456+20=476), Tatnell (458+18=476), Saldana (471+4=475), Johnson (459+10=469), Smith (464+2=466).
