I've got pictures of the great Bruce Homer waving the flags in that stand. As much as I have always liked Bruce I kinda wish they could have gotten this chick to wave the flags at least once :-).

I believe the flagstand was from Ontario. Riverside and Baylands were both in operation during the 1980's.

yes topwing you are correct the stands -crash walls- fence- flag stand -lighting- and pa system all came from Ontario motor speedway ------my bad---and forgive me for making such a bonehead mistake---does anybody know where these items are today ????

Shrek, all destroyed I think.
But in traditional David Vodden doings, he harvested a boatload of grandstands from Sears Point when ISC took over and started rebuilding. He is using them at his Thunder Hill race plant up north.

My understanding has always been that Jerry Turner bought them and was going to use them at his track in Fresno, UNTIL THE HORSE LOVERS PUT A STOP TO IT.

Wasn't Kenny Garcia also a flag waver at Baylands?
As I recall, Baylands track parts initially went to Victorville Cali and were then aquired by Turner, where they most likely set to this day. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong!
