Good luck to Jonathan Allard in the NSCS Speedweeks. He has been on a roll latley and should have the same sucess in the 360's.
Any other NorCal drivers heading up to Oregon & Washington? The GSC drivers could race Ocean on Friday, then the three Oregon races mid-week then back to Chico for the season fianle on Sat. & Sun. I hear BK may attend some of the races.

BK is running the Oregon races.
Kyle Hirst is running al but Elma I'm hearing. I think his pops said that he's running Chico and Petaluma this weekend.
I also heard that Jimmy Trulli is coming up.

that just might hand the GSC crown to Becker and move Croft to 3rd!

I don't think Becker will catch BK with three races left. Ocean is his "new" home track and he always runs well at Chico. The real question is will BK break the season win record with a 9th win?

Oct 30-31st - Perris Speedway: USAC Bud Oval Nationals

BK misses one show and Becker does well, Becker gets the lead.

its close enough. Its totally up to BK, if he races every race and plays it somewhat cautious hes got it pretty much. But one mistake and a decent night for Sean and there neck and neck

Scott I was referring to Garys comment about BK bailing for Oregon. He might rethink it if he looks at the points, lol...

Brent will still be able to run the final races even if he goes to Oregon. The big question is, will he go to Skagit or Chico next weekend? I've heard about 100 different answers to that so we shall see.

Seems to me that if Brent was not going to run the last 2 GSC races
in Chico, he would have run the Forni Memorial this past weekend which
paid $5,000 to win instead of running Chico for $3,000 to win.

I hope next year the NSCS will move their Speedweeks to August so the NorCal drivers can race (and win). BK, Allard, Day, Statler, Becker, Croft, Forsberg and the rest of em' would clean up in these races. Just like the Dirt Cup every year.
There are both GSC and Civil War point races over the next few weekends.
Coming up:
Oct 17th - Ocean Speedway: WOO
Oct 18th - Tulare Thunderbowl: WOO
Oct 30-31st - Perris Speedway: USAC Bud Oval Nationals

BK and Sean Becker are some of my favorite drivers and I am just glad it will be a good, close race to the finish! It will be weird not having Jon Allard there but he will have fun racing somewhere else and getting ready for the Knoxville Nationals. Willie Croft also did really well this year and has become one of the best drivers out there. Of course TK is always exciting to watch and I like to see how happy he gets when he wins a race. I also hope he is feeling better and is able to race again soon. According to my memory it would be GSC championship #2 for Becker and #13 for BK.
Ca nana- What is going on with the benevolent fund picnic this year?

would Allard still be going to Elma this weekend if he was still in contention for the GSC point lead?
